Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach is set to bring the vibrant flavours of Korea to the city with a limited-time Korean Food Festival at its signature restaurant, Red Bowl. Running from 20 February to 1 March 2026, the showcase promises an immersive exploration of Seoul’s bold and comforting culinary traditions.
Leading this gastronomic celebration is Chef Ronald, a Korean cuisine specialist with over two decades of experience. Known for his mastery of traditional techniques and flavour balance, Chef Ronald recreates the energy of a bustling Seoul kitchen through dishes that are expressive, layered and deeply satisfying.
“It is a privilege to bring the true flavours of Korea to Vizag through this festival at Novotel Visakhapatnam Varun Beach,” said Chef Ronald. “Korean cuisine celebrates harmony, between spice and subtlety, heat and comfort, tradition and technique. With every dish, I hope guests experience the depth, warmth and soul that define Korean gastronomy.”
The curated menu highlights Korea’s beloved street food and homestyle classics. Diners can savour Dubu-Kimchi with its silky tofu and bold fermented notes, fiery Tteokbokki glazed to perfection, and Jjampong Ramen—a rich, spice-laden noodle bowl layered with robust flavours. Each dish is crafted to deliver authenticity while inviting guests to discover new taste dimensions.
