Held at the hotel’s beautiful poolside deck, the event saw an energetic mix of guests, loyal patrons and the hotel team joining in for the ceremonial start to Christmas preparations.

The atmosphere turned festive the moment the tables filled up with colourful candied fruits, dried berries, nuts and aromatic spices. Guided by The LaLiT’s chefs, everyone wore aprons and gloves and happily took part in layering, mixing and celebrating this age-old ritual that leads to the hotel’s famous Christmas plum cakes.

This year’s ceremony felt extra special with the presence of Mr. Stephen Twinings, tenth-generation leader of the world-renowned Twinings Tea family, who attended as the Chief Guest. His presence added a touch of heritage and elegance to the evening.
