The Leela Gandhinagar is set to celebrate Onam with 'Onam Utsavam', an intimate Kerala Sadya experience at Citrus Junction on 26 August 2026. Bringing together traditional cuisine, festive décor and the warmth of South Indian hospitality, the one-evening celebration will offer guests an immersive taste of Kerala's culinary heritage.

Inspired by the cultural richness of God's Own Country, the limited-seat sit-down dinner will centre around an authentic Onam Sadya, with an array of vegetarian preparations, regional flavours and traditional accompaniments served as part of the festive feast.

Guests can savour traditional Sadya favourites including Matta Soru, Vendakkai Sambar, Kalan, Avial, Olan and Vegetable Kootu, alongside other regional delicacies that showcase the diversity of Kerala's vegetarian cuisine.

The culinary experience will be complemented by an evocative festive setting designed to recreate the warmth of a traditional Onam celebration. An elegant Pookalam, Nilavilakku, banana-leaf-inspired table settings and South Indian-inspired décor will create an immersive backdrop for the evening.

Traditional Kerala music and South Indian melodies will further add to the ambience, allowing guests to experience the cultural elements of Onam alongside the cuisine.
