The New Punjab Club in Anna Nagar, Chennai, presents ANVAYA, a modern Indian food festival celebrating the evolution of Indian cuisine through familiar flavours, global influences and contemporary culinary creativity. The festival will be available until October 15, 2026.

Rooted in India’s rich culinary heritage, ANVAYA explores how traditional recipes and regional favourites can be reimagined through innovative techniques, unexpected combinations and modern presentation, while retaining the flavours that make them familiar.

The festival features a selection of contemporary creations, including Varqi Paratha Tacos with Chicken Mussalam and Aam Papad Chutney, Golden Fried Corn Ribs with Thecha Butter, Jackfruit Za’atar Biryani and Za’atar Chicken Biryani. The menu also brings together inventive desserts and snacks such as Beetroot Kulfi Chaat, Mango Srikhand Mousse and Carrot Halwa Mille-Feuille, alongside other modern interpretations of Indian favourites.

At the heart of ANVAYA is the idea that innovation begins with an understanding of tradition. The menu combines traditional ingredients, regional influences and modern culinary techniques to create a contemporary dining experience. From familiar Indian flavours presented in unexpected formats to global inspirations blended with Indian cooking traditions, the festival highlights the different ways Indian cuisine can evolve while staying connected to its roots.
