The Piano Man, Eldeco Centre, Malviya Nagar, New Delhi, is set to host two special live music evenings this Independence Day weekend, bringing together the nostalgia of retro Bollywood and the energy of contemporary jazz.

The venue will begin the weekend with A Tribute to Mohd. Rafi & Kishore Kumar by Lost Radio on August 15, followed by A Jazz Gala by Arjun Sagar Gupta on August 16.

Tribute to Mohd. Rafi & Kishore Kumar

On Saturday, August 15, Delhi-based band Lost Radio will pay tribute to two of Indian cinema's most celebrated playback singers, Mohd. Rafi and Kishore Kumar.

Known for performing English classics and retro Bollywood favourites, Lost Radio brings together musicians from Delhi's independent music scene. The lineup features Diyatom Deb on vocals, Sushant Thakur on guitar, Archit Agrawal on bass, Naman Datta on drums and vocals, and Shivam Khare on piano and keyboard.

The evening will revisit the timeless melodies of Rafi and Kishore Kumar, spanning soulful ballads and energetic Bollywood classics that continue to resonate with audiences across generations.

A Jazz Gala by Arjun Sagar Gupta

On Sunday, August 16, The Piano Man will present A Jazz Gala by Arjun Sagar Gupta, featuring pianist and vocalist Arjun Sagar Gupta.

The performance will bring together an international ensemble including Canadian vocalist Alyse Pascoe, American saxophonist Ryan Cerrone, Smiti Malik, saxophonists Abhay Sharma and Aniket Chaturvedi, trumpeter Priyansh Jindal, bassist Geet Gupta and drummer Aditya Bhagavatula.

The ensemble will reinterpret jazz standards through live improvisation and contemporary arrangements, offering audiences an evening built around musicianship, spontaneity and the enduring appeal of jazz.
