Vegas Mall, Dwarka, has begun a thoughtful community initiative titled “Soles of Hope,” a week-long shoe donation drive created to support individuals who often walk long distances without proper footwear. Held in partnership with Helping Hut NGO, the drive runs from 18 to 24 November 2025 and invites mall visitors to contribute new or gently used shoes for underprivileged children and adults.

At the heart of the activation is a specially designed drop-off zone inside the mall. Here, a short rough-surface walkway allows visitors to briefly experience what it feels like to walk without comfortable footwear, a daily reality for many. The installation aims to spark empathy and remind people of how something as simple as a pair of shoes can change someone’s everyday life.

Ravinder Choudhary, Vice-President of Vegas Mall, shared that “Soles of Hope is not just about collecting shoes. It’s about recognising the silent hardships people face when they lack even the most basic essentials. As a community space, we believe we have a responsibility to take meaningful steps that create real social change.”

Through this initiative, Vegas Mall strengthens its commitment to purposeful CSR efforts that address practical challenges faced by local communities. As the donation drive continues through the week, the mall encourages visitors to come forward and help bring comfort, dignity, and a small but important sense of hope to those who need it most.
