Vijayawada’s dining scene is set for a global treat this March as Red Bowl, the award-winning signature restaurant at Novotel Vijayawada Varun, hosts an immersive Korean Food Festival from March 1st to 8th, 2026.

Fresh after winning the prestigious Food Connoisseurs Award 2026, Red Bowl continues to raise the bar for fine dining in Vijayawada by introducing authentic Korean flavours at a time when the city is increasingly open to global culinary experiences.

The eight-day festival celebrates Hansik, Korea’s traditional food philosophy, through a thoughtfully curated menu. Leading the showcase is Chef Ronald, a seasoned expert in Korean cuisine with more than 20 years of experience. His approach brings the warmth and energy of a Seoul kitchen straight to the table, with dishes that are bold, comforting, and deeply flavourful.

Guests can look forward to standout dishes like Dubu-Kimchi, featuring soft tofu balanced with fermented flavours, Tteok Bokki known for its spicy glaze and chewy texture, and Jjampong Ramen, a hearty noodle bowl packed with rich spices and layers of flavour. Each dish stays true to Korean roots while offering diners something exciting and new.

Already popular for its Pan-Asian offerings and much-loved live Teppanyaki counter, Red Bowl is often counted among the best places for Asian food in Vijayawada.
