Overview

Woodside Inn is celebrating its biggest Oktoberfest yet, bringing the Bavarian season to four outlets across Mumbai and Bengaluru for the first time. Running from 1st to 25th October 2026, the three-week celebration features a shared Bavarian-inspired food menu, city-specific beer programmes and 1-litre steins across all four outlets, with the celebration running daily from 12 pm to 1 am.

The food menu begins with Oktoberfest favourites such as Pretzels, available in Cream and Onion Spiced and Korean BBQ Spiced variations. Small plates include Crusty Potatoes with Crispy Onions and Creamy Obatzda and Beer Battered Gherkin Fritters with Honey Mustard Sour Cream, bringing Bavarian-inspired flavours to the menu.

The Chicken Schnitzel Bites offer a modern twist on Bavaria's breaded cutlet, with a Korean-spiced take featuring Gochujang and shaved manchego cheese. Larger plates include Beer and Cheese Rigatoni, finished in a Helles Lager-spiked Mozzarella Cheddar Cream with Toasted Pretzel Crumb, and a Bavarian Hot Dog with Currywurst Ketchup, Apple and Pickle Slaw, served on traditional Brötchen bread in Mumbai and brioche in Bengaluru. Guests can choose between Chicken Krainer or Pork Currywurst sausage.

Desserts bring a city-specific touch to the celebration. Mumbai features the Danube Wave Tres Leches Cake, inspired by the river that runs through the heart of Bavaria, while Bengaluru offers a Black Forest Tart, drawing inspiration from the Schwarzwald region.

The beer programme also varies by city, with each outlet featuring a five-beer line-up. Every beer is available as a Pint (330 ml), Large Pint (500 ml) or Stein (1000 ml), allowing guests to raise a full-litre Bavarian-style toast.

In Mumbai, the beer line-up features Hell Meister, a Helles Lager brewed in-house by Woodside Brews, Kaiser Kölsch by 2 Down Beer Co, Doppelbock, a German Lager by Bira, Fest and Furious, a Festbier by Bombay Duck Brewing, and Forward March-Zen, a Märzen by KA Brew House.

At the Bengaluru Indiranagar outlet, the selection includes Hell Meister by Geist, Kaiser Kölsch by Red Rhino, Dubbel Trouble, a Belgian Dubbel by Flying Fox, Forward March-Zen by Toit, and Golden Fox, a Hefeweizen by Flying Fox.

"Oktoberfest has always been about bringing people together over good food and great beer, and that's exactly the energy we wanted to recreate at Woodside Inn," said Pankil Shah, Co-founder of Woodside Inn. "Taking it national this year, across Mumbai and Bengaluru, felt like the natural next step and this year we've taken the flavours of Bavaria and given them our own playful spin, city by city, so guests get something unique to experiment with"

Woodside Inn is a gastropub known for its craft beer on tap and elevated pub fare. Started in Mumbai by the founders of Neighbourhood Hospitality, the brand has grown from its Colaba outlet to locations across Bandra and Andheri, with its Bengaluru debut in Indiranagar adding the brand to the city's pub culture.
