Overview

After 19 successful years, Woodside Inn’s iconic Beer & Burger Festival returns with a new global-inspired edition, bringing its celebrated celebration of burgers and craft beers to Mumbai while making its Bengaluru debut for the first time.

Titled “Bazaar Binge,” the month-long gastronomic festival transforms the flavours, energy, and stories of 14 iconic food markets from across the world into a specially curated menu of burgers, sandwiches, and craft brews.

Running from July 15 to August 16, 2026, the festival will be available across all Woodside Inn outlets in Colaba, Bandra, and Andheri in Mumbai, along with the brand’s first Bengaluru edition at Indiranagar.

Inspired by markets ranging from Bangkok’s Chatuchak Market and Mumbai’s Crawford Market to Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar, Marrakech’s Jemaa El-Fna, and London’s Borough Market, Bazaar Binge takes guests on a flavour journey where every burger and beer reflects the character of its chosen destination.

The festival’s headline collaboration features Chef Seefah, who brings the spirit of Bangkok’s Chatuchak Market to life with a double smash larb moo pork mince patty, layered with melted cheddar and nam jim jaew mayo, served alongside tom yum fries. The creation captures the balance of savoury, spicy, sour, and sweet flavours associated with Southeast Asian street food.

The menu features eight burgers and sandwiches, each inspired by a different market. Mumbai’s Crawford Market is represented through a grilled lamb mince patty with mint coriander aioli and crispy straw onions, served over a silky nihari velouté.

Istanbul’s Grand Bazaar inspires a grilled beef patty paired with muhammara, sumac pickled red onions, and labneh, while Marrakech’s Jemaa El-Fna brings North African flavours through a chermoula-marinated grilled chicken creation with scamorza, harissa aioli, and preserved lemon and green olive relish.

Celebrating Bengaluru’s own food identity, the Malleshwaram Market-inspired burger features a chana dal vada patty with badami mango tamarind aioli on a potato bun, complemented by guntur chilli birria.

The sandwich selection continues the global journey with inspirations from Kuala Lumpur’s Jalan Alor Night Market, Barcelona’s Mercado de La Boqueria, and Colombo’s Pettah Market, featuring unique combinations of tempeh, mushroom, fried chicken, sangria-inspired flavours, cheese, and regional spices.

The beer programme adds another layer to the experience with six specially crafted brews developed in collaboration with Bengaluru’s leading craft breweries. Each beer reflects the personality of a different global marketplace.

Highlights include Tsukiji Sunrise, a yuzu rice lager inspired by Tokyo’s Tsukiji Outer Market; Borough Bean, a coffee cocoa porter created with Toit inspired by London’s Borough Market; and Saffron Sands, a saffron-infused witbier by Geist Brewing Co. inspired by Dubai’s Spice Souk.

The collection also includes Vicky’s Tropical Riot, a passionfruit IPA by Red Rhino inspired by Melbourne’s Queen Victoria Market; SF Ferry Tale, a West Coast IPA by 2 Pints inspired by San Francisco’s Ferry Building Marketplace; and Mercado Wit, a Belgian witbier by Flying Fox inspired by Mexico’s Mercado de San Juan.

Beyond the menu, Bazaar Binge creates an immersive marketplace-inspired experience with themed décor, indoor and outdoor settings, and a Bazaar Passport allowing guests to collect stamps while exploring different burgers and beers throughout the festival.

Speaking about the festival, Pankil Shah, Co-Founder, Woodside Inn, said, “Bazaar Binge is one of the most exciting briefs we've ever set for ourselves. Every market on this list has a distinct personality. A smell, a texture, a way of eating, and the challenge was to get that into a burger or a pint without losing its essence.”

Sharing his thoughts on the Bengaluru launch, Sumit Gambhir, Co-Founder, Woodside Inn, said, “Bringing Bazaar Binge to Bengaluru for the first time feels especially significant because this city is so deeply curious about food and the stories behind it. Every burger and brew has been created to capture the spirit of a market, not just through flavour, but through the emotions, memories, and sense of discovery that make these places unforgettable.”

With Bazaar Binge, Woodside Inn celebrates the connection between food, culture, and community, transforming iconic global markets into a menu designed for exploration, nostalgia, and discovery.
