Ayodhya, a city revered for its cultural and religious heritage, is on the brink of a hospitality revolution. The upcoming inauguration of the Ram Temple has catalysed a flurry of infrastructural developments, including the launch of India's first-ever seven-star vegetarian-only hotel.
A Seven-Star Vegetarian Haven
This exclusive seven-star property promises an unparalleled experience with 56 air-conditioned rooms, each boasting unique décor. At its heart is 'Naivedyam,' a pure vegetarian restaurant designed to tantalise the taste buds of the most discerning guests. This luxurious establishment is not just a hotel; it's a celebration of vegetarianism at its most opulent.
Five-Star Developments on the Horizon
Simultaneously, a Mumbai-based realty firm is set to add a five-star hotel to Ayodhya's growing list of high-end accommodations. This development, along with a new housing project, signifies a major leap in the city's infrastructure and tourist appeal.
Yogi Adityanath's Vision for Ayodhya
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, speaking at an event, highlighted the transformation of Ayodhya. "We have received 25 proposals for hotel projects, including a seven-star vegetarian hotel," he announced. Reflecting on the past, he lamented the delay in Ayodhya's development, asserting that the current growth should have happened a decade ago.
Bollywood's Touch in Ayodhya
Adding a touch of Bollywood glamour, Amitabh Bachchan has reportedly acquired a plot in 'The Sarayu,' a luxurious enclave just 15 minutes from the temple. While details are scarce, the buzz in the industry is that this 10,000 square-foot land might have cost around Rs 14.5 crore.
A Surge in Hotel Development
Ayodhya is witnessing a surge in hotel development, with around 110 hoteliers, big and small, eyeing land to set up their establishments. The banks of the Sarayu River are particularly in focus, with multiple five-star hotels planned in this scenic locale. Additionally, the city is embracing sustainability with the development of a solar park.
As Ayodhya opens its doors to the world with the Ram Temple, it's not just about spiritual tourism anymore. The city is rapidly morphing into a hotspot for luxury and eco-friendly travel, setting the stage for a new chapter in Indian hospitality.
