Since its inception in 1982, the Centaur Lake View Hotel has not just been a destination but a symbol of Kashmir's hospitality. With an estimated development cost of Rs2.12bn ($26m), the hotel is set for an impressive transformation.

This transformation is proposed to be carried out under a public-private partnership (PPP) model, focusing on design, build, finance, operate, and transfer (DBFOT) basis. This approach aims to blend the hotel's historical charm with modern luxury and efficiency.

For this venture, the JKTDC has employed an innovative online single-stage three-part e-forward auction method for the bidding process, inviting national and international players to contribute to this prestigious project.
