Courtyard by Marriott Tiruchirappalli has welcomed Jitendra Singh Rathore as its new executive chef, marking a significant addition to the hotel's culinary team. With an impressive career spanning over two decades, Rathore brings a wealth of experience from working in renowned hotels across the country.
His culinary journey began in 2003 at Oberoi Rajvilas in Jaipur, where he showcased his passion for the culinary arts and a commitment to perfection. Throughout his career, Rathore had the privilege of working with diverse international clientele in cities like Delhi, Goa, Jaipur, Pune, Agra, and Raipur. His stints with renowned hospitality brands such as Taj Rambagh Palace in Jaipur, Hyatt Regency in Pune, Hyatt Palace in Goa, and The Claridges Hotel Surajkund in Delhi-NCR have provided him with a deep understanding of different cultures, regional cuisines, and indigenous ingredients.
Before joining Courtyard by Marriott Tiruchirappalli, Rathore served as the culinary lead at Compass Group in Karnataka and was involved in the pre-opening of Courtyard by Marriott Sindhu Bhawan Road in Ahmedabad.
Recognized for his talent and dedication, Rathore was nominated as one of the top five chefs of the year at the Hoteliers India Awards in 2019. This accolade reflects his commitment to excellence and innovation in the culinary field.
With his profound knowledge of flavours and culinary traditions, Rathore is set to curate a distinctive gastronomic experience for guests at Courtyard by Marriott Tiruchirappalli. He will continue Marriott's legacy of offering a diverse array of global flavours and authentic local delicacies. Combining meticulous attention to detail with a passion for creating memorable dining experiences, Rathore aims to delight guests with his indulgent culinary creations.
