Dusit International, a leading hotel and property development company in Thailand, has made its debut in Nepal with the opening of two properties: Dusit Princess Kathmandu and Dusit Thani Himalayan Resort Dhulikhel. The hotels will welcome guests from 17 and 24 July, respectively.
Dusit Princess Kathmandu, located in the vibrant Lazimpat neighbourhood, offers 107 comfortable rooms and speciality amenities such as a Thai restaurant, Dusit Gourmet outlet, and rooftop Kibu Sky Lounge with an infinity pool. The hotel also prioritizes wellness with its Crest spa, gym, steam room, and sauna. For events, it provides versatile meeting spaces, including a stunning rooftop venue called 'Vista.'
Dusit Thani Himalayan Resort Dhulikhel, situated amidst nature in the Himalayan foothills, presents 54 guest rooms, 18 exclusive villas, an exclusive Devarana Wellness centre featuring a traditional Thai healing spa, fitness and movement centre, and an outdoor infinity pool. Guests can engage in invigorating activities such as yoga, meditation, biking, and hiking to local villages.
Both properties focus on providing unique experiences, embracing local culture, and offering farm-to-table dining experiences. The resort in Dhulikhel also allows guests to enjoy adventurous activities like ziplining, rafting, and bungee jumping nearby.
Mr Gilles Cretallaz, COO of Dusit International, expressed excitement about their debut in Nepal and their commitment to creating memorable and meaningful experiences for guests.
Dusit's entry into Nepal adds to its global portfolio, with 54 properties under Dusit Hotels and Resorts and over 240 luxury villas under Elite Havens, spanning 19 countries. The company has ambitious plans with over 60 Dusit Hotels and Resorts in the pipeline worldwide.
To celebrate its opening, Dusit Princess Kathmandu offers a special package starting at NPR 16,500 (USD 125) per night for a Superior room with breakfast and a set dinner. Dusit Thani Himalayan Resort Dhulikhel presents the New Himalayan Hideaway package, including daily breakfast, complimentary afternoon tea, spa benefits, guided visits, and more exclusive offers.
