Accor, a renowned name in the hospitality industry, is set to expand its footprint in India with the introduction of the Mercure hotel in Bhubaneswar. This strategic move is in line with Accor's commitment to provide exceptional hospitality experiences and offer unique stays to its guests.
Developed in collaboration with Specbru Hotels Private Limited, a part of the Spectrum Group, the upcoming Mercure Bhubaneswar is positioned to cater to both leisure and business travelers in the city. Bhubaneswar, celebrated for its thriving business environment and rich cultural heritage, serves as the perfect backdrop for this venture.
Aniruddh Kumar, Accor's Vice President of Development for India and South Asia, expressed excitement about this expansion, highlighting their dedication to providing exceptional hospitality and unique experiences while maintaining the legacy of their existing properties.
PK Rajeev, Director of Specbru Hotels Private Limited, shared his delight in partnering with Accor for this endeavor. The Mercure brand's contemporary design and warm hospitality align well with the vibrant city's ethos, promising to elevate the hospitality experience in Bhubaneswar.
Scheduled to open its doors in 2025, Mercure Bhubaneswar will boast 98 guestrooms and suites, along with facilities like diverse dining options, a swimming pool, fitness center, and a spacious banquet space spanning 300 square meters.
RK Panigrahi, Additional Director of Specbru Hotels Private Limited, said “By partnering with Accor, a globally recognised hospitality company, we aim to elevate the hospitality experience in Bhubaneswar by offering top-notch services, modern amenities, and a unique blend of local culture and international standards.”
As Bhubaneswar continues to thrive as a business hub and preserve its cultural heritage, the Mercure hotel by Accor is poised to offer a space where guests can experience the best of both worlds – exceptional hospitality and the charm of the city's rich history.
