In a groundbreaking move, the Grand Casino Hotel Resort in the United States has embarked on a technological transformation. Partnering with Agilysys, a leader in hospitality-focused technology, the resort is set to redefine its Return on Experience (ROE) – a critical metric measuring financial gains from enhancing guest and staff services.
The investment includes a suite of cloud-native solutions by Agilysys, meticulously designed to uplift the guest experience while offering substantial benefits to the hotel staff. Key among these solutions is a cloud-based application allowing restaurant patrons to reserve their seating, helping establishments maximize space utility. Additionally, the resort has introduced a contactless, mobile self-service food and beverage ordering system across various settings, including food courts and in-room dining.
The POS system from Agilysys stands out with its advanced security features, ease of use, and efficient transaction processing. Its intuitive interface is tailored to minimize staff training time while accommodating a wide range of customer preferences for POS interactions.
The resort, part of Citizen Potawatomi Nation and located east of Oklahoma City, also boasts a commission-free, guest-facing web booking platform. This innovative platform not only simplifies itinerary management for guests but also promotes upselling of unlimited amenities like room upgrades and spa treatments.
Further expanding its tech arsenal, Grand Casino Hotel Resort has invested in Agilysys’ spa management application and a golf course and pro shop management application, enhancing operational efficiency in these departments. Chief Technology Officer Justin Dunsworth emphasized the significant improvements these solutions have brought to both hotel and casino operations.
Grand Casino Hotel Resort, featuring over 125,000ft² of gaming space with more than 2,000 Vegas-style slot machines and a Keno lounge, is now poised to offer an even more memorable and efficient guest experience, setting a new standard in the hospitality and gaming industries.
