Hey, hoteliers! Feeling the pinch of rising costs and looking for magical spells to save money without compromising the guest experience? Well, your magic wand is here, and it doesn’t even require any hocus pocus. We’ve gathered golden nuggets of wisdom on how to slice that bill and run your establishment more efficiently - all without transforming your guests’ stay into a budget experience. Let’s dive in!

Bulk is Beautiful

Why buy one when you can get a hundred at a discount, right? Join forces with other businesses, bulk buy supplies, and watch those expenses drop like they’re hot. It’s like Black Friday but all year round!

Automation Nation

Welcome to the future, where checking in is as smooth as butter. Property management systems and smart locks are the dynamic duo, making check-ins smoother than a Sinatra song. It frees up your time and keeps guests happier than a kid in a candy store.

The Tech Savvy Route

Ever heard of smart climate control systems like Nest? These bad boys let you control temperatures from the comfort of your smartphone. It’s like having the power of Elsa from Frozen but without the eternal winter. No more heating empty rooms, no more guests feeling like they’ve stepped into the Sahara at noon.

 The Green Path to Savings

Who said going green only benefits the planet? It’s a two-way street, my friend! Switch to refillable toiletry containers. They’re the unsung heroes in the battle against unnecessary costs. Bid farewell to single-use plastics and say hello to savings! Also, let’s break up with the old-school breakfast buffet. It’s not you, it’s the waste. A la carte menus or pre-packaged options are the new talk of the breakfast town.

Linen - Less is More!

Here’s a riddle - what’s something guests rarely notice but often costs a fortune? Linen! Try putting out just one set of towels for solo travelers. It’s like a secret handshake that says, “We’ve got you covered, but we’re also saving where we can.” Every unwashed towel is a win for your pocket and Mother Earth.

The Magic of Maintenance

Remember that old saying, “A stitch in time saves nine?” Well, it wasn’t talking about embroidery. Regular maintenance is like that superhero that prevents catastrophes before they happen. It’s the unsung hero that keeps the wallet fat and happy.

There's a rising demand for exclusive business clubs. Entrepreneurs, corporate leaders, and creative minds now seek sophisticated spaces where they can connect, collaborate, and unwind.

While traditional establishments like Gymkhanas and Golf courses have long been the domain of the elite, gaining membership can be a lengthy process. To meet the evolving needs of professionals, a new wave of members-only private clubs is emerging in business hubs and city centers.

According to recent research by Axon Developers in collaboration with SKYE, the current market size of these exclusive clubs stands at INR 576 crores. By 2027, this figure is projected to soar to INR 941 crores, reflecting a robust growth rate of 17.8%.

These modern sanctuaries offer more than just meeting spaces. With swanky lounges, gourmet restaurants, fitness facilities, and luxury amenities like spas and art galleries, they provide a holistic lifestyle experience. Standalone clubs such as Quorum, BLVD, and Soho House, alongside established hospitality brands like Chambers and Privie, cater to diverse tastes and preferences.

Beyond business dealings, these clubs host a myriad of events, from art exhibitions to book readings, creating vibrant social hubs for India's upwardly mobile professionals.

The Western region of India, particularly Mumbai, leads the way in club membership, contributing over half of the revenue and membership volume. Mumbai boasts a rich array of clubs, including SOHO House, Taj Chamber, and Modernist, attracting discerning individuals with a penchant for luxury and innovation.

Membership in these clubs is highly selective, often based on referrals and invitation. Alongside financial status, criteria such as professional achievements and future vision play a pivotal role in admission, instilling a sense of pride among members.
