Flavour giant, MONIN, is set to host the MONIN Coffee Creativity Cup (MCCC), a competition that aims to discover the most innovative and creative coffee mocktail designed by industry professionals.
Starting on July 19 in Delhi, the competition will move to Mumbai and Bengaluru for the other regional rounds on July 27 and August 1, respectively. Participants will compete to craft an innovative espresso-based mocktail that tantalizes all five senses - sight, smell, sound, taste, and touch. Judges will assess how well each contestant incorporates the sensory experience into their drink.
Ten contestants from the regional rounds will advance to the Finale, scheduled for August 3 in Bengaluru. The winner will represent India at the Global Finals in Malaysia, enjoying an all-expenses-paid trip.
The jury will consist of Coffee Trainers, Influencers in the Coffee Industry, Barista Champions, and key figures from the F&B Industry. Regional rounds will have three jury members each, while the National final will have four.
Germain Araud, Managing Director of MONIN India, expressed excitement about bringing together the Indian coffee community and offering them a chance to shine on the global stage. MONIN has been supporting and promoting new talent in India through various events, focusing this year on celebrating the craft of baristas.
The MCCC is not only a celebration of India's love for coffee but also a way to foster the growth and development of the entire coffee community in the country and the Asia-Pacific region.
