Ayodhya is set for a hospitality transformation as OYO inaugurates 65 hotels and homestays, responding to a remarkable 350% surge in searches for Ayodhya on its platform in the past year. Anticipating increased tourism post the Ram Temple consecration on January 22, 2024, these properties promise a comfortable and affordable stay.

In a significant move, Brijesh Pathak, Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, along with key dignitaries, inaugurated 51 OYO homestays and 14 hotels in Ayodhya. This initiative aligns with OYO's commitment to offering accessible accommodations to travelers exploring Ayodhya's rich religious and cultural heritage. Budget-friendly rooms starting from INR 1000 cater to diverse needs, ensuring a memorable and affordable experience.

Partnering with the Ayodhya Development Authority and Uttar Pradesh State Tourism Development Corporation, OYO ensures smooth and timely operations for its new properties. Located strategically across Ayodhya, these accommodations promise a seamless and enjoyable stay for guests, offering a blend of quality and affordability to religious tourists.

The expanded OYO presence in Ayodhya reaffirms the brand's dedication to supporting the city's flourishing tourism. Brijesh Pathak, expressing delight, emphasizes the importance of OYO's focus on local homestays, aligning with the mission to empower Ayodhya's residents and showcase its cultural heritage authentically. The addition of homestays with ramps reflects OYO's commitment to convenience for all, including divyang (handicap) devotees.

Deepa Malik, Independent Director at OYO, highlights the collaboration's vision to make Ayodhya accessible and comfortable for travelers from all walks of life. Jaiveer Singh, Cabinet Minister for Tourism & Culture, Uttar Pradesh, echoes confidence in the collaboration's role in boosting tourism and creating economic opportunities.

The strategic expansion in Ayodhya marks OYO's dedication to supporting local economies and creating employment opportunities. The focus on spiritual destinations aligns with OYO's plan to launch 400 properties in major spiritual hotspots across the country, catering to the rising interest in spiritual tourism. The company's vision extends to destinations like Ayodhya, Varanasi, Tirupati, and Katra-Vaishno Devi, contributing significantly to the overall development of hospitality sectors in these regions.

OYO's substantial addition of properties in Ayodhya sets the stage for a new era in hospitality, catering to the diverse needs of travelers and positioning Ayodhya as a beacon of spiritual tourism.
