Swiggy, India's leading on-demand convenience platform, has announced the second edition of the Great Indian Restaurant Festival (GIRF) 2024. Running from September 5 to October 27, the festival offers food lovers a chance to enjoy a flat 50% discount at over 10,000 participating restaurants across 39 cities. This year’s edition aims to be bigger and better, with twice as many restaurants compared to the previous event.
GIRF 2024 will include a wide range of well-known restaurants, such as Socials, Jamie’s Pizzeria, Irish House, Fisherman Wharfs, Malaka Spice, and Hard Rock Cafe. Luxury hotel brands like JW Marriott, ITC, and Hyatt will also participate, giving diners an array of premium options. Those using HDFC Bank credit cards will receive an additional 15% discount, adding even more value to their dining experiences.
In addition to savings, diners can look forward to special perks like free cocktails, mocktails, and happy hours at select venues throughout the festival. The event will cater to cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bangalore, and Goa, as well as emerging hotspots such as Lucknow, Surat, and Udaipur.
Swapnil Bajpai, Head of Swiggy Dineout, expressed his excitement about the festival, stating, “As the festive season approaches, we know our customers are eager to celebrate at their favourite restaurants. The Great Indian Restaurant Festival has been growing bigger with each edition, and we’re excited to bring it back within the same year due to popular demand. GIRF is Swiggy’s way of bringing together the best restaurants with unbeatable deals, making dining out both affordable and enjoyable.”
To further promote the festival, Swiggy Dineout has launched the "Bhoolna Mana Hai" campaign featuring Rohit Sharma. The campaign humorously reminds customers not to miss out on the incredible dining deals. Rohit's playful forgetfulness is highlighted to emphasize the urgency of booking early for this unmissable event.
With GIRF 2024, Swiggy continues to lead the way in providing exceptional dining experiences, offering a mix of great food and unbeatable value.
