The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore, recently hosted an exclusive culinary event titled "Taste of Triumph," showcasing the extraordinary skills of Chef Naresh Hari, Chef de Cuisine at The Ritz-Carlton, Bangalore. Chef Hari, who will represent India at the Barilla Pasta Championship Asia 2024 in Manila, presented his signature dish, Spaghetti Uovo with Smoked Prosciutto Mousse, Parmesan Chive Foam, and Crisp Green Leeks, offering a modern take on the traditional Carbonara.
The event took place at The Market, the hotel’s award-winning restaurant, and was attended by media and influencers. Guests relished Chef Hari's unique creation, which will now feature on The Market's special October menu in celebration of National Pasta Month.
Chef Hari's culinary prowess was acknowledged at the inaugural Barilla Pasta Championship Asia 2024 held at St Regis Mumbai, organised by UDI. His innovative dish earned him accolades from a distinguished panel of judges, including Chef Andrea, Barilla Executive Chef Asia Pacific; Chef Swarup Solgaonkar, Corporate Chef of McDonald's India; Chef Yogesh Utekar, Principal of Ramanath Payyade College of Hospitality Management Studies; and Luigi Cascone, Deputy Consul General of Consolato Generale D'Italia A Mumbai.
Expressing his excitement about the opportunity, Chef Naresh Hari shared, “I am excited to represent my country at the Barilla Pasta Championship Asia 2024, and I look forward to showcasing a dish that not only respects the richness of Italian cuisine but also highlights the flavours of my culinary heritage. The idea remains to find a fusion of heritage and imagination, and create a culinary experience that tells a story.”
Expressing his excitement about the opportunity,

As India's representative, Chef Hari will advance to the Grand Finals in Manila this October, where he will compete against winners from seven other countries across the Asia region. The top three winners will receive prestigious titles along with the opportunity to explore Italian gastronomy on a specially curated experiential tour to Parma, Italy.
