Enter Vaum Tonics, India's pioneering line of Quinine-Free botanical beverages, born from the collaboration of Co-Founders Siddharth Saraf and Aakash Khaunte. With a shared vision of crafting drinks that are both health-conscious and delicious, they embarked on a journey to redefine the art of mixology.

Vaum Tonics stands out in the crowded beverage landscape with its unwavering commitment to quality and innovation. Inspired by the tranquil sounds of nature encapsulated in the Sanskrit word “Vaum,” each bottle is a testament to their dedication to providing a truly exceptional drinking experience.

Siddharth and Aakash recognized the need for mixers that enhance, rather than overpower, the flavors of premium spirits. Thus, Vaum Tonics was born, offering a delicate and nuanced flavor profile that elevates every beverage it complements.

Partnering with renowned beverage innovators Hayley Troup and Ed Swete, Vaum Tonics brings to life seven distinct and memorable flavors, all crafted with botanicals imported from Europe and bottled with champagne-esque carbonation in Goa.

From classic tonic waters to contemporary mixers, Vaum Tonics offers a diverse range of meticulously crafted products designed to enhance the flavors of various spirits. Each batch undergoes rigorous quality checks to ensure that every bottle delivers an unparalleled drinking experience.

At the heart of Vaum Tonics lies a mission to redefine the art of mixing beverages, inspiring creativity and exploration within the mixology community. Tokyo Matcha Bar has opened its first dine-in location in Bandra, introducing Mumbai's first-ever matcha bar. The founders, Michelin-starred Chef Rahul Ramnani and coffee lover Meher Kohli, have been credited with starting the matcha movement in the city, which is known for its diverse culinary offerings.

image

Originally a small coffee hideaway called Ritual Daily Coffee, Tokyo Matcha Bar began with the founders' passion for unique beverages. They aimed to provide an alternative to Mumbai's well-established tea and coffee culture by introducing the city to matcha, a traditional Japanese green tea. Tokyo Matcha Bar quickly gained popularity among those looking for a non-coffee energizing drink. Following a successful year of operating and popularizing matcha, the founders decided to expand into a brick-and-mortar establishment with a unique dine-in space.

The new dine-in area is inspired by the Wabi-Sabi concept, reflecting simplicity and beauty in imperfection. Its minimalist, modern design evokes a serene Japanese teahouse, offering visitors a peaceful escape from the bustling city of Mumbai. Founder Meher Kohli shared her excitement, saying, "Our new dine-in space is more than just a place to grab a matcha drink. It's a sanctuary where you can escape the hustle and bustle of Mumbai and truly immerse yourself in the world of matcha."

The menu at Tokyo Matcha Bar caters to matcha lovers, offering a variety of unique beverages and superfoods sourced from around the world. Popular drinks include the Matcha Vanilla Bean Latte, Frozen Matcha Lemonade, Wild Berry Matcha Iced Tea, and a range of "Skinny Af" health-conscious drinks. Coffee options are also available for those who prefer a more traditional taste.

In addition to beverages, the menu has been expanded to include an oriental dining experience inspired by Southeast Asian flavors. Customers can enjoy Aunty Leena's Spring Rolls, Matcha Fried Chicken, Gyoza, and Wontons. The food menu also includes comforting dishes such as Fried Rice, Dan Dan Noodles, Gojujang Mac and Cheese, and Katsu Curry. To finish on a sweet note, dessert lovers can indulge in matcha-infused treats like Matcha Lava Cup-Kie, Matcha Crepe, and Matcha Soft Serve.
