Haninder Sachdeva pursued a Bachelor of Arts (Honors) in Hospitality Management from the University of West London. Prior to that, he completed an Advanced Diploma in Hotel Management from Mangalore University.

Haninder began his career as an Operations Manager at InterContinental Hotels Group. He then proceeded to serve as the Deputy General Manager / Hotel Manager at Hilton. Haninder was the Pre-Opening General Manager at ITC Hotels. He then became the General Manager at Park Plaza Jodhpur under Radisson Hotel Group. Haninder served as the Regional General Manager for East Africa at Golden Tulip Hotels, Suites & Resorts, which is followed by the period as an interim position as Group General Manager at Castle Bromwich Hall Hotel Limited & Best Western Normanton Park Hotel. Held a temporary role as Area General Manager at Compass Hospitality. 

Currently, as the CEO of Eight Continents Hotels and Resorts, Haninder Sachdeva leads the strategic direction and overall management of the company. My entrance into the hospitality industry can be traced back to a childhood fascination with hotels and culinary delights. From a young age, I was captivated by the world of diverse cuisines and luxurious accommodations. This passion for exceptional experiences laid the foundation for my journey in senior leadership roles within the hospitality sector.

As a natural traveler, I embarked on explorations that took me across various destinations, seeking out outstanding culinary experiences and unique local flavors. This wanderlust fueled my ambition to create spaces where others could also revel in the delight of fine dining and impeccable hospitality.

My dream was to make a substantial impact in the hospitality business, drawing inspiration from my travels and the diverse array of cuisines I encountered. Whether discovering new places or savoring the intricacies of local dishes, each experience contributed to my evolving understanding of what truly distinguishes an outstanding hospitality venture.

This lifelong pursuit of excellence has become the cornerstone of my involvement in the industry, weaving together my passion for travel, appreciation for diverse cuisines, and dedication to crafting memorable guest experiences.

This shortage, further exacerbated by the COVID-19 pandemic, witnessed a substantial workforce shift towards other industries, including logistics, IT, and startups. To address this pressing issue, Eight Continents has strategically implemented initiatives aimed at overcoming the shortage of skilled talent.

A pivotal strategy employed by the company involves establishing collaborative partnerships with schools and colleges. Through these partnerships, Eight Continents actively participates in the creation and promotion of apprentice programs designed to provide students with hands-on training and exposure to the diverse facets of the hospitality sector. When I'm not immersed in the world of hospitality, I love to unwind and recharge by diving into a good documentary on Netflix, Amazon Prime and exploring the tranquility of nature. There's something incredibly soothing about losing myself in a captivating story or taking a leisurely walk in a serene park near my house or farm house as I live in country side of Warwickshire - A Shakespeare County. These moments of solitude and reflection allow me to disconnect from the bustling pace of daily life, offering a chance to refresh my mind and rejuvenate my spirit. Whether it's through the good web series/ documentary or the simple beauty of the natural world, I find these experiences crucial for maintaining balance and fostering creativity in my personal and professional life.

Reflecting on this milestone, Dinesh Yadav, Founder & MD of Fine Acers highlights how the collaboration aligns with rising demand for premium leisure travel, destination weddings, and experiential stays. With existing resorts in Jaipur, Pushkar, and Goa, the company currently operates 200 rooms across three properties and plans to add 700 more keys over the next three years across Jaipur, Jawai, Udaipur, Pushkar, and Coorg, backed by an investment of around ₹600 crore. This expansion will take the total inventory to 1500 rooms across seven properties.

The introduction of Dolce by Wyndham comes at a time when India’s luxury hospitality segment faces a supply gap, with only around 29,000 luxury rooms available nationwide. Positioned to bridge this gap, Dolce integrates business, leisure, and large-scale event capabilities, making it ideal for high-demand markets like Goa and Udaipur, known for strong occupancy rates and wedding-driven demand. Fine Acers’ sale-and-leaseback model supports growth by enabling investors to purchase around 70% of its inventory, which is leased back and professionally managed, offering attractive returns without operational involvement, a model gaining traction among HNIs and NRIs seeking financial and experiential value. Backed by strong industry fundamentals, with hotel demand projected to grow at 10.8% annually against 8% supply growth, the company is expanding into high-demand destinations with a vision to surpass 1500 keys by 2030 and establish itself as a leading player in resort and lifestyle hospitality, while destination weddings and MICE remain central to the strategy, supported by India’s USD 130 billion wedding industry, driving memorable guest experiences and sustained growth.
