99 Pancakes, one of India’s fastest-growing quick-service restaurant (QSR) chains, has rolled out two new desserts that take inspiration from the Middle East, Kunafa Pancakes and Kunafa Waffles. Known for creative flavors and comforting sweetness, the brand has given a fresh spin to the popular kunafa dessert, making it a part of its signature line-up.
The Kunafa Pancakes come as soft, fluffy minis topped with milk-choco, pistachio spread, and delicate golden kunafa flakes that add both texture and a nutty richness.
The Kunafa Waffle, on the other hand, offers a crispy base with the same indulgent toppings, finished with golden kunafa strands for that perfect bite of crunch and sweetness.
Sharing the thought behind the launch, Vikesh Shah, Founder of 99 Pancakes, said, “We are committed to pushing the boundaries of desserts – merging taste, textures, and cultures. Kunafa is a Middle Eastern dessert, and by blending kunafa into our pancakes and waffles, we are offering our guests a sweet surprise that will satisfy their taste buds and is set to become a new favorite”.
With these new additions, the brand is aiming to give customers a dessert that is not just delicious but also memorable and perfect for sharing. The kunafa-inspired range pairs traditional flavors with a modern twist, keeping up with today’s fast-paced, on-the-go lifestyle.
Currently operating 80+ outlets across 17 cities, 99 Pancakes continues to expand rapidly. The new Kunafa Pancakes and Waffles are available for dine-in and takeaway at all outlets, and can also be ordered online through Zomato, Swiggy, and the official website 99pancakes.in.
