JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity, a symbol of luxury and sophistication, is celebrating its 10th anniversary, marking an extraordinary journey in the heart of India's capital. In 2013, Marriott International expanded its presence in India with the grand inauguration of this magnificent hotel.
Reflecting on this milestone, Sandeep Gupta, Executive Chairman of Aria Hotels and Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., expressed his joy, saying, "Celebrating this remarkable journey is a source of immense happiness. It's a testament to the legacy of my late father, Padma Shri Sushil Gupta, and the successful partnership between Aria Hospitality and Consultancy Pvt. Ltd. and Marriott International. I'm grateful for the unwavering support of our guests, partners, and the dedicated team that has made this journey possible. I eagerly anticipate many more decades of providing unparalleled hospitality and creating cherished moments at JW Marriott New Delhi."
Culinary excellence has been at the core of the hotel's success, featuring a range of award-winning restaurants and lounges. The latest gem in their culinary crown is ADRIFT Kaya New Delhi, a Japanese Izakaya concept conceived by Sandeep Gupta and led by Michelin-starred chef David Myers. K3: New Delhi's Food Theatre, an all-day diner, offers a unique dining experience with three live kitchens showcasing Mediterranean, Asian, and Indian cuisines, all prepared by a team of master chefs. For those with a sweet tooth, the Delhi Baking Company delights with an array of desserts, bread, bakery products, and the finest illy coffee. JW Lounge caters to guests with a selection of premium spirits, cocktails, and hors d'oeuvres.
Sharad Datta, General Manager of JW Marriott New Delhi Aerocity, emphasized that their success isn't solely defined by their splendid facilities or elegant ambiance. Instead, it's the unwavering dedication of their associates who have tirelessly cared for their guests. In turn, their guests have nurtured their business by choosing them as their preferred destination. This journey has been remarkable, and they eagerly look forward to many more years of providing extraordinary experiences to their cherished guests.
Over the past decade, JW Marriott New Delhi has remained a beacon of luxury in Aerocity, offering 509 rooms and suites. Inspired by Aujasya by The Leela, the brand's philosophy centred on vitality, balance, and mindful living, the event brought together guests, wellness enthusiasts, and hotel associates for a morning dedicated to holistic wellbeing.
Hosted within the serene surroundings of the hotel, the programme went beyond physical exercise to focus on mindfulness and self-awareness. Participants took part in guided yoga sessions, mindful breathing exercises, and moments of quiet reflection, creating an environment that encouraged relaxation and inner balance.
The experience was designed around the belief that true wellbeing is built through meaningful and enriching moments. As the session concluded, guests were invited to continue their wellness journey with an Aujasya-inspired breakfast featuring wholesome dishes, fresh fruits, herbal infusions, and nutritious selections curated to complement the spirit of the occasion.
The event reflected the holistic wellness approach of Aujasya, where movement, nourishment, and mindfulness come together to promote renewal and personal wellbeing. Guided by the principles of Aujasya, the hotel continues to offer opportunities for guests to reconnect with themselves through thoughtful and restorative experiences.
More than a celebration of yoga, the event served as a reminder of the importance of mindfulness, nourishment, and inner balance in creating a healthier and more fulfilling way of life.
ITC Maurya celebrated International Yoga Day 2026 with a dedicated wellness session at Nandiya Garden, embracing this year's theme, "Yoga for Healthy Ageing."
