Ritz-Carlton has unveiled the design details of its latest luxury cruise liner, Ilma, set to debut this fall. As the second addition to the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection, Ilma promises an ultra-luxurious experience on the high seas.

The 790-foot superyacht, designed to carry up to 448 passengers, offers an array of five-star amenities. Following the success of the 623-foot Evrima launched in 2022, and ahead of the 794-foot Luminara set for 2025, Ilma reflects Ritz-Carlton's commitment to expanding its superyacht fleet.

"Ilma has been meticulously crafted to enliven the senses and elevate every aspect of our guests’ journey," said Jim Murren, executive chairman and CEO of the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection. Named after the Maltese word for "water," Ilma features a sleek exterior by Finnish studio Aivan and an elegant interior by British firm AD Associates, inspired by Maltese mythology and coastline.

Ilma’s 224 suites are designed with floor-to-ceiling windows and private oceanview terraces, allowing guests to feel a strong connection to the sea. The suites range from standard luxury accommodations to expansive options like the Owner’s Suite, which offers over 1,000 square feet of living space, an in-suite bar, and a chic dining area.

The ship's amenities are designed to provide both relaxation and entertainment. Ilma will feature an expanded Marina and Marina Terrace with a hydraulic platform for direct ocean access. Guests can enjoy plush lounges, an expansive pool area, and a spa with 11 treatment rooms, including options for outdoor treatments. For fitness enthusiasts, there are three dedicated spaces: a Movement Studio, Cycle Studio, and Fitness Studio.

One of the highlights is the Beach House restaurant, offering Peruvian and Pan-Latin cuisine alongside craft cocktails. Ilma boasts a total of five distinct dining venues, seven bars, and a wine vault, ensuring a wide variety of culinary experiences.

Ilma's first voyage is scheduled for September 2, 2024, embarking on a seven-night trip from Monte Carlo to Rome. Following this, the yacht will sail to destinations in the Mediterranean and Caribbean, with plans to explore the North and Baltic Seas during the 2025 summer season, a first for the Ritz-Carlton Yacht Collection.

With its meticulous design and luxury offerings, Ilma aims to set a new standard in ultra-luxury cruising, providing an unforgettable journey for its guests. For more information or to book a reservation, contact (833) 999-7292 or reach out to your travel professional.
