Aamaghati Wildlife Resort, a newly opened luxury retreat on the edge of Ranthambore National Park, is now welcoming guests for an adventure-filled stay. Positioned near the park, which is famous for its thriving tiger population, the resort offers a unique combination of wildlife encounters and high-end amenities. The resort is also accessible for safaris in Zones 6 to 10 during the monsoon season, providing a lush, green backdrop that transforms the forest into a vibrant paradise.
The resort is named after a mango tree-lined ravine within Ranthambore, and it reflects the area's rich historical and cultural heritage. The design pays homage to the legacy of the Chauhan kings, with thoughtful touches like the Johra Bohra bar and Badal Mahal restaurant, inspired by the fort's historical liquor cellars and dining halls.
Aamaghati stands out for its innovative use of mud architecture, designed by the late Revathi and Vasant Kamath. The 5.3-acre resort was constructed using a mixture of mud, cow dung, and lime plaster, along with thatch roofs and bamboo accents. This approach minimizes cement usage, and the entire resort is wheelchair accessible, making it ideal for multi-generational families. Abhishek Hissaria, MD of Aamaghati Resort, highlighted the resort's design, saying, "The layout replicates the zones of Ranthambore National Park, capturing the essence of the forest."
Guests can choose from four accommodation categories: Evoke, Elegant, Legacy Suite, and Signature Suite. Each room offers stunning views of the Aravali mountains and is named after a famous Ranthambore tiger, adding a local touch to the luxurious experience. The rooms are designed to evoke the feel of a traditional village house while offering modern amenities. The best suites even feature two bathrooms, catering to couples eager to embark on early morning safaris.
The resort is also a top choice for intimate events, including weddings. It offers separate kitchens for vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine, ensuring the purity of the vegetarian menu, with local Rajasthani dishes being a highlight.
Sustainability is a key focus at Aamaghati, which is designed as a Net Zero Plus resort. The use of mud plaster reduces energy consumption, and the resort prioritizes water conservation and minimizes plastic use. It operates its own water bottling plant, and treated wastewater is used to maintain the greenery, making Aamaghati one of the most sustainable resorts in the region.
Aamaghati Wildlife Resort is easily accessible by road, with a four-and-a-half-hour drive from Delhi via the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and a four-hour drive from Gurugram. The resort is also conveniently reached from Jaipur airport, with several train options available from Delhi and Mumbai to Sawai Madhopur.
Rates for the resort, from October 2024 to March 2025, range from ₹17,000 to ₹75,000.

The Anam Cam Ranh has introduced a unique immersive wellness experience titled “From Husk to Health,” allowing guests to witness and participate in coconut harvesting directly within the resort grounds.
Unlike conventional luxury hospitality experiences where beverages are prepared behind a bar, the resort brings the origin of the drink into view, starting from the coconut trees themselves.
Held every Thursday from 10–11 am at the entrance of the resort’s wellness and recreation precinct, the experience sees gardeners climb coconut palms to harvest mature coconuts in front of guests. Visitors are then guided through the process of trimming, opening, and understanding different stages of coconut growth.
Guests are introduced to how coconuts mature, how ripeness affects flavour and texture, and why younger coconuts tend to produce sweeter water while mature ones offer richer flesh. The freshly opened coconuts are served immediately, offering naturally hydrating water rich in electrolytes such as potassium and magnesium, along with nutrient-dense coconut meat.
Speaking about the initiative, Laurent Myter, Group General Manager of The Anam Group, said, “A freshly harvested coconut, in my opinion, resonates more than a glass of champagne. We have received great feedback from our guests about this simple yet authentic experience. Learning the story behind the humble coconut further connects you to Vietnam’s remarkable landscape.”
The experience is part of the resort’s broader wellness and recreation ecosystem, which includes an organic farm, mini-golf course, sports facilities, and curated farm-to-table dining experiences.
Ingredients from the resort’s farm are actively integrated into its culinary offerings across restaurants, with herbs, vegetables, and fruits used in both Vietnamese and international dishes, as well as in signature cocktails.
The initiative reflects The Anam Cam Ranh’s growing focus on immersive, nature-connected luxury experiences that blend wellness, education, and sustainability within hospitality
