Aamaghati Wildlife Resort, a newly opened luxury retreat on the edge of Ranthambore National Park, is now welcoming guests for an adventure-filled stay. Positioned near the park, which is famous for its thriving tiger population, the resort offers a unique combination of wildlife encounters and high-end amenities. The resort is also accessible for safaris in Zones 6 to 10 during the monsoon season, providing a lush, green backdrop that transforms the forest into a vibrant paradise.
The resort is named after a mango tree-lined ravine within Ranthambore, and it reflects the area's rich historical and cultural heritage. The design pays homage to the legacy of the Chauhan kings, with thoughtful touches like the Johra Bohra bar and Badal Mahal restaurant, inspired by the fort's historical liquor cellars and dining halls.
Aamaghati stands out for its innovative use of mud architecture, designed by the late Revathi and Vasant Kamath. The 5.3-acre resort was constructed using a mixture of mud, cow dung, and lime plaster, along with thatch roofs and bamboo accents. This approach minimizes cement usage, and the entire resort is wheelchair accessible, making it ideal for multi-generational families. Abhishek Hissaria, MD of Aamaghati Resort, highlighted the resort's design, saying, "The layout replicates the zones of Ranthambore National Park, capturing the essence of the forest."
Guests can choose from four accommodation categories: Evoke, Elegant, Legacy Suite, and Signature Suite. Each room offers stunning views of the Aravali mountains and is named after a famous Ranthambore tiger, adding a local touch to the luxurious experience. The rooms are designed to evoke the feel of a traditional village house while offering modern amenities. The best suites even feature two bathrooms, catering to couples eager to embark on early morning safaris.
The resort is also a top choice for intimate events, including weddings. It offers separate kitchens for vegetarian and non-vegetarian cuisine, ensuring the purity of the vegetarian menu, with local Rajasthani dishes being a highlight.
Sustainability is a key focus at Aamaghati, which is designed as a Net Zero Plus resort. The use of mud plaster reduces energy consumption, and the resort prioritizes water conservation and minimizes plastic use. It operates its own water bottling plant, and treated wastewater is used to maintain the greenery, making Aamaghati one of the most sustainable resorts in the region.
Aamaghati Wildlife Resort is easily accessible by road, with a four-and-a-half-hour drive from Delhi via the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway and a four-hour drive from Gurugram. The resort is also conveniently reached from Jaipur airport, with several train options available from Delhi and Mumbai to Sawai Madhopur.
Rates for the resort, from October 2024 to March 2025, range from ₹17,000 to ₹75,000.

A luxurious evolution has arrived at Four Seasons Resort Maldives at Kuda Huraa with the launch of its newly reimagined Beach Villas with Pool. These elegant accommodations replace the resort’s former Beach Bungalows, bringing guests a brighter, more spacious, and stylish retreat just steps from the shoreline.
The new villas double the outdoor space to 285 sq. m. (3,068 sq. ft.), feature redesigned interiors spanning 70 sq. m. (753.5 sq. ft.), and are crafted to perfectly blend indoor comfort with the beauty of the Maldives. Ideal for couples, honeymooners, and small families, each Beach Villa comfortably accommodates three adults or two adults and two children under 12.
Commenting on this final phase of the resort’s regeneration project, General Manager Didier Jardin shared, “Kuda Huraa has long been a haven for those seeking an intimate Maldivian home-from-home but we recognised the limitations of our bungalows in terms of layout, light and space. Our first ever Beach Villas embody the spirit of the island, where comfort, care, and the magic of the Maldives come together in a seamless flow.”
What’s New:
Light & airy design:
Deep wood tones have given way to sun-inspired palettes of teal, turquoise, and tangerine, evoking a fresh island vibe.
Smarter layout: A breezy porch leads into an ensuite bedroom with ocean-framed daybed, study, dining space, and a reconfigured walk-in closet seamlessly linked to the bathroom.
Upgraded outdoor living: The plunge pool has transformed into a generous 36 sq. m. (388 sq. ft.) pool oriented towards stunning ocean views. A chic pergola with a round custom swing sets the scene for relaxed lounging or eye-catching Instagram moments.
Elegant touches: High-end designer pieces like the B&B Italia armchair and organic architectural curves ensure the villas harmonise beautifully with their surroundings.
Guests can also enjoy thoughtful inclusions like daily fresh fruit, Kuda Spring water, coffee and tea, twice-daily housekeeping with evening turndown, and beach essentials for children.
For a seamless start to paradise each day, the resort’s Bed & Breakfast package offers a lavish buffet breakfast at Café Huraa, included for two guests per bedroom (or more in family units), available for stays until December 20, 2026.
To be among the first to experience these stunning new villas, guests can email reservations.mal@fourseasons.com or call +960 66 00 888.
