Accor, a global hospitality leader, has announced the signing of a new dual-hotel development in the pilgrimage city of Tirupati, India. This project will introduce Novotel Tirupati and ibis Styles Tirupati, combining 350 rooms across two brands. The venture, developed in partnership with Shravanthi Hotels & Resorts Private Limited, highlights Accor’s commitment to serving India’s key travel destinations with quality accommodations.
The 350-room hotel cluster is designed to meet the rising demand in Tirupati, home to the renowned Tirumala Venkateswara Temple, which draws millions of visitors annually. In recent years, Tirupati has also become a growing hub for education and business, increasing the need for high-standard hospitality options. The two hotels will include 180 guest rooms at Novotel and 170 rooms at ibis Styles, catering to both midscale and economy segments.
Strategically located on Tirupati’s main road, the hotels will offer easy access to the city’s airport and popular attractions. Guests will enjoy a range of amenities, including multiple dining options, a fitness center, a swimming pool, and over 1,000 square meters of flexible meeting and event spaces. These facilities make the hotels ideal for both leisure and business travelers.
Aniruddh Kumar, Vice President of Development for India & South Asia at Accor, expressed his enthusiasm for the new venture, saying, “We are ecstatic to expand our footprint in Andhra Pradesh with the addition of Novotel Tirupati and ibis Styles Tirupati. This development underscores our commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences.”
Executive Director of Shravanthi Hotels & Resorts, Santosh Balakrishna, added, “We are pleased to partner with Accor to bring a dual hotel development to Tirupati. With Novotel and ibis Styles, we aim to serve diverse travelers visiting this significant cultural and spiritual center.”
Scheduled to open in early 2027, Novotel Tirupati and ibis Styles Tirupati will further strengthen Accor’s presence in Andhra Pradesh. Accor currently operates 65 hotels across India under brands such as Raffles, Fairmont, Sofitel, and ibis, with over 30 additional properties in development.
