BLive, a prominent multi-brand EV platform, has collaborated with Zomato to introduce 30 Ather EVs for last-mile deliveries in Ahmedabad, advancing its mission to expand its EV fleet across 20 Indian cities. This partnership aligns with a shared commitment to sustainability, aiming to reduce the carbon footprint in the delivery ecosystem by transitioning to eco-friendly EVs.
Focused on Tier II cities, BLive aims to address the EV scarcity and meet the growing demands of last-mile delivery services. The strategic partnership with Zomato, initiated in July, initially launched the EV initiative in Hyderabad, marking a significant stride towards a sustainable future for food delivery in India.
Samarth Kholkar, CEO and Co-founder of BLive, expressed excitement about transforming the delivery industry by integrating EVs into Zomato's operations. This initiative reflects BLive's dedication to environmental sustainability and business innovation.
Nikhil Patil, Head of Corporate Sales at Ather Energy, shared his enthusiasm for partnering with BLive and Zomato, contributing to a more sustainable and eco-friendly future for food delivery in Ahmedabad. He highlighted the positive environmental impact of electric vehicles and anticipated the transformative change Ather's electric scooters would bring to the city's delivery landscape.
BLive, as India's first multi-brand EV platform, plays a crucial role in promoting electric mobility adoption nationwide. With over 40 brands on its digital platform, BLive offers an omnichannel experience, including an E-commerce store and premium experience stores across the country.
The company aims to expand its footprint to 100 premium multi-brand stores by 2024, providing a diverse range of EV products and services. This includes E-Scooters, E-cycles, Delivery Ebikes, and more. BLive also facilitates EV adoption by offering charging infrastructure, post-sales services, and accessible financing options for both personal and business use.
