AIAA and Tripadvisor have joined forces to launch "Destination: Space," a revolutionary content platform focused on space tourism, exploration, and education. This initiative aims to demystify space travel for the public, making it more accessible to everyone. Featuring Tripadvisor reviews from astronauts who have traveled to space, the platform offers unfiltered experiences of what it's like to journey beyond Earth.

The announcement was made at the 2024 ASCEND event in Las Vegas, attended by over 3,500 aerospace professionals. "Destination: Space" not only includes reviews but also provides links for booking space experiences, information on space-related locations on Earth, and resources for STEM learning.

The platform's highlight is the first-ever tourist review from space by Dr. Sian "Leo" Proctor. Known for her groundbreaking achievements, Dr. Proctor offers a humorous yet accurate review of her space experience, complete with videos, photos, and familiar Tripadvisor "bubble ratings."

"Destination: Space" also features space-inspired itineraries, interactive STEM programs, and reviews from other space travelers like Victor L. Vescovo and Marty Allen.

Adam Ochman from Tripadvisor expressed excitement about the launch, emphasizing the goal of bridging the gap between Earth and space. Brian Talbot from AIAA highlighted the importance of collaborations to promote space as an accessible destination.
