Air India is celebrating Navratri with specially curated festive meals onboard select flights and at its lounges in Delhi and Mumbai. Available from 10 to 20 October 2026, the festive offerings feature fasting-friendly dishes, traditional favourites and regional specialities, bringing the flavours of the festival to travellers both in the air and on the ground.

The initiative covers select flights departing from Delhi, Mumbai and Ahmedabad, along with the airline's lounges at Delhi's Terminal 3 and Mumbai's Terminal 2. The menus have been designed around traditional Navratri food customs, with dishes prepared using shuddh ghee and sendha namak.

Air India's onboard Navratri menu features a range of traditional dishes across breakfast, refreshment, lunch and dinner services.Breakfast options include Sabudana Khichdi with crispy potato salli, Vratwale Shahi Aloo and Singhade ki Poori, served with fresh fruit, plain dahi and water.

During refreshment service, passengers can enjoy Sabudana Wada, Garam Aloo Chaat prepared with sendha namak and mint chutney, and Vratwala Paneer Tikka made with curd, cashew and aromatic spices. Sabudana Fruit Kheer and fresh fruit complete the offering. For lunch and dinner, the menu features Vratwala Shahi Paneer, Vratwali Kaddu Ki Subzi, Samak Jeera Rice and Singhade ki Poori, accompanied by fruit, dahi and Sabudana Fruit Kheer.

Through these offerings, Air India aims to bring familiar festive flavours and traditional food customs into the onboard dining experience.The celebrations extend to Air India's lounges, where guests can enjoy specially prepared Navratri menus during their journeys.

At the airline's flagship Maharaja Lounge at Delhi's Terminal 3, the spread includes Sabudana Khichdi, Farali Misal, Farali Kachori, Shakarkandi ki Tikki, Sabudana Vada and Rajgira specialities. Makhana Kheer will also be available on request.

A specially curated Navratri food cart will complement the menu, adding a festive touch to the lounge experience. At the domestic lounges, Air India is introducing a dessert selection inspired by the colours associated with the festival. The spread includes carrot mawa roll, orange semolina cake and pumpkin cheesecake, alongside red velvet brownies, blueberry cheesecake, mango cheesecake, kiwi mousse and purple yam Swiss rolls. Peacock-themed sweet creations will also feature in the selection.

The dessert offerings will be accompanied by traditional Navratri farsaan, including banana chips, rajgeera ladoo, peanut ladoo, rajgeera chikki, banana wafers and peanut chikki. Festive décor inspired by the energy and warmth of Navratri will further enhance the lounge atmosphere.

Air India's Navratri initiative reflects its focus on combining customer service with India's cultural traditions. By introducing festive menus across select flights and lounges, the airline is extending the celebration beyond destinations and into the travel experience itself.
