ALIVAA Hotels & Resorts has announced the signing of ATARAXIA BY ALIVAA, Mussoorie Foothills, Dehradun, further expanding its footprint in Uttarakhand. The addition marks the company’s sixth property in the state and reinforces its focus on strengthening its presence in key leisure destinations across India.
Nestled between the Dehradun plains and the Mussoorie hills, the resort is surrounded by lush forests and offers a tranquil retreat amid nature. Designed as an architectural sanctuary, the property features well-appointed accommodations, panoramic views of the surrounding landscape, and a pristine outdoor swimming pool that serves as a central attraction.
The resort is already operational under the ATARAXIA BY ALIVAA brand, with special summer and monsoon packages currently available for guests.
Commenting on the development, Vikramjit Singh, Chairman & Managing Director, ALIVAA Hotels & Resorts, said, “ATARAXIA marks a defining step in our regional clustering strategy. Uttarakhand is central to India’s premium leisure story, and this foothill location fuses Himalayan warmth with the operational standards that define ALIVAA.”
Highlighting the strategic importance of the property, Akash Bhatia, Chief Executive Officer (M&F), ALIVAA Hotels & Resorts, said, “ATARAXIA is positioned to become a benchmark asset for us in North India, restorative surroundings, exceptional amenities, and a guest experience built around superior asset performance.”
Sharing their thoughts on the partnership, Sarita Upadhyay & Rajeevv Malhotra, Owners, Ataraxia Resort and Spa, said, “We built this resort as a haven of absolute peace, where architecture meets the pristine foothill landscape. Partnering with ALIVAA lets us scale that vision while elevating the guest experience to its full potential.”
With this latest signing, ALIVAA Hotels & Resorts continues its growth journey in Uttarakhand, a region that remains one of India's most sought-after destinations for leisure and wellness travel. The addition of ATARAXIA BY ALIVAA is expected to strengthen the brand’s presence in North India while offering travellers a nature-inspired escape in the foothills of Mussoorie.
