AlumierMD, a standout name in medical-grade skincare, has taken a big step toward boosting its operational efficiency by successfully integrating Centric PLM, a product lifecycle management solution offered by Centric Software. This move is set to redefine how the company manages its product development, communication, and compliance.

Based in Toronto, AlumierMD is known for delivering professional skincare solutions through clinical expertise and a user-friendly e-commerce platform. While the brand has built a strong foundation rooted in safety, innovation, and quality, growing operational demands called for a more connected and efficient workflow.

With internal teams working in silos and facing differing regulatory guidelines, AlumierMD recognized the need for a more unified system. Turning to Centric PLM was a strategic choice to enhance visibility, reduce delays, and ensure that product development stayed compliant and efficient.

“We recognized the need for a platform that could optimize our workflows and improve our overall operational efficiency,” shared Nadeira Rickford, VP of Product Development at AlumierMD. Centric PLM enabled the brand to handle bills of materials more effectively and maintain better tracking throughout product development stages.

With the implementation of Centric PLM, AlumierMD has streamlined various processes, from packaging and labeling to formula management and documentation. Secure, role-based access ensures sensitive data stays protected while fostering real-time collaboration between internal teams and external partners.

One of the standout features of Centric PLM is its adaptability—offering a seamless shift to improved systems without disrupting existing product data. AlumierMD also invested in training and change management to ensure smooth adoption across the organization.

The partnership with Centric Software not only solves current operational challenges but also reinforces AlumierMD’s focus on delivering high-quality skincare backed by expertise and technology. Chris Groves, CEO of Centric Software, remarked, “This strategic initiative streamlines operations, improves collaboration and elevates product quality, positioning AlumierMD to meet the evolving demands of a competitive market and continue to deliver exceptional products to its customers.”
