Kolkata-based Ambuja Neotia Group has recently announced their acquisition of Tree of Life Resorts & Hotels, significantly broadening their footprint in the hospitality industry. With the purchase of Gurugram-based Tree of Life Resorts & Hotels, a leading collection of boutique hotel experiences across 14 destinations in India, Ambuja Neotia strengthens its position in the hospitality sector.

Tree of Life Resorts & Hotels, which was founded in 2009, has firmly established itself in the boutique hotel space. It is renowned for offering guests exceptional experiences, personalized service, serene surroundings, and privacy. This acquisition represents a significant move by Ambuja Neotia to enhance its guest offerings.

The acquisition of Tree of Life Resorts & Hotels introduces a range of new properties to the Ambuja Neotia portfolio. Ambuja Neotia Group owns over 750 rooms across its portfolio, managed by various global hospitality brands, and this acquisition adds approximately 200 more rooms. The group has embarked on a mission to offer exceptional and memorable stays to its guests.

Udaipur welcomes a new luxury landmark as Wyndham Hotels & Resorts opens Wyndham Grand Udaipur Fatehsagar Lake, a lavish lakeside retreat set across 26 acres of scenic landscapes. Overlooking the Aravalli mountains and minutes from Fatehsagar Lake, the resort marks Wyndham’s flagship debut in India’s luxury space.

The grand opening saw an elegant gathering of hotel leaders, industry names and special guests. A traditional Rajasthani welcome set the tone—flower showers, tika and pag rituals, followed by vibrant Kachi Ghodi dancers and live regional music. With dusk settling over the hills, the celebration moved into curated culinary experiences that showcased Udaipur’s artistic and cultural charm.

As a pure vegetarian resort, guests can enjoy Indian and global flavours at Pyaala, Shakahari and O Sian, each focusing on fresh, local ingredients.
