Some postcards are better poured. Amelia at One BKC has introduced The Cocktail Edit, a new collection of 15 cocktails inspired by flavour, memory, place and personal experiences.
The new cocktail programme builds on Amelia's approach to giving guests something different to discover with every visit. Known for its European-inspired cuisine and craft cocktail offering, the restaurant has now turned its attention to creating a collection where every drink comes with its own story.
Inspired by the idea of postcards collected from different places and experiences, The Cocktail Edit brings together 15 distinct cocktails, each rooted in a particular mood, destination, memory or cultural reference.
The menu moves between approachable, playful and adventurous profiles, pairing familiar ingredients with unexpected combinations to create a varied drinking experience.
The collection begins with cocktails such as Golden Harvest, a warm and easy combination of Irish whisky, toasted barley and ginger, and Mecca, which brings together gin, lemon and Italian orange for a bright citrus-led profile.
For a more floral expression, Blossoms & Bubbles combines chamomile, blue pea and lavender, creating a cocktail designed to be as visually distinctive as it is flavourful.
The Cocktail Edit also embraces unconventional combinations for guests looking to explore something different.
MI-CHILL-ADA pairs vodka with shrimp, tomato and chilli, creating a bold and savoury profile. Holy Shrimp brings together gin, shrimp, lemongrass and kaffir lime, while Salted Saddle combines whisky with banana, coffee and sea salt.
Another unusual pairing comes through Milanese, which brings bourbon together with melon and capers, continuing the menu's exploration of unexpected flavour combinations.
Rather than following a single flavour direction, the collection allows guests to move between lighter, floral and citrus-led cocktails and richer, savoury and experimental combinations.
The concept behind The Cocktail Edit transforms Amelia's cocktail menu into more than a list of drinks. Each cocktail is positioned as a small story inspired by a place, feeling, memory or cultural reference.
The idea of collecting postcards provides the creative thread connecting the menu, with every pour offering guests another point of discovery.
Through the new edit, Amelia continues its focus on creating experiences that encourage guests to return and explore something new, this time through a cocktail programme that combines storytelling with inventive flavour combinations.
