The second edition of Founders Day marks another milestone in the illustrious journey of Ananta Hotels & Resorts, celebrating the legacy of its visionary founder, Mr. Mukund Goyal. The event reflects on the brand's evolution from humble beginnings to becoming a global leader in hospitality, known for its unique blend of cultural immersion and experiential tranquility.

Ananta Hotels & Resorts, which began in 2010, is the realization of Mr. Goyal’s passion and innovative thinking. From its first property in Pushkar to its latest projects, the brand has redefined hospitality in Rajasthan and beyond. Reflecting on this remarkable journey, Mr. Goyal shared, "When we laid the foundation for Ananta Spa & Resort in Pushkar, it was more than just a business venture—it was the beginning of a legacy. A legacy built on passion, innovation, and an unwavering commitment to excellence."

A Legacy of Innovation and Sustainability

The Ananta story is one of resilience and ingenuity. Starting with the groundbreaking Ananta Spa & Resort in Pushkar, Mr. Goyal introduced a new vision of resort culture in Rajasthan, harmonizing nature and architecture. The success of the first resort set the stage for Ananta Udaipur, where each cottage offers breathtaking views and maximum privacy, all while adhering to sustainable practices. This dedication to sustainability is a cornerstone of Ananta’s philosophy, evident in the brand’s design, construction materials, and landscaping.

Expanding Horizons: The Ajabgarh Property

The past year has been significant for Ananta Hotels & Resorts, with the upcoming launch of the Ajabgarh property in November 2024. Located in a picturesque valley surrounded by the Aravalli mountains, the resort promises to offer guests a unique and immersive experience that connects them with the five elements of nature. This new venture further underscores Ananta’s commitment to providing tranquil sanctuaries that blend luxury with environmental harmony.

Their fresh perspectives and innovative ideas ensure that Ananta Hotels & Resorts continues to evolve and set new benchmarks in the hospitality industry, all while remaining true to the core values that have driven its success.

This year’s Founders Day is not only a reflection of past achievements but also a celebration of the future, with new opportunities and growth on the horizon.

LOYA at Taj West End, Bengaluru marked World Storytelling Day with a calm and thoughtfully curated afternoon that brought people together over stories and shared experiences.

The gathering was designed as a space for open conversations around storytelling, seen as a way to preserve meaning and capture the beauty and emotion of everyday life. Much like food, which often brings people closer, storytelling became the centre of the afternoon’s experience.

The session featured a diverse group of voices, including writer and journalist Ruth D’Souza Prabhu, wine expert and writer Ruma Singh, hospitality connoisseur Aslam Gafoor, and sensory artist Indu Antony, known for capturing the unique scents of Karnataka.

As the conversation unfolded, it became clear that despite their different backgrounds, storytelling connected them all. Rooted in Indian culture and heritage, food emerged as a shared theme, bringing together memories, perspectives, and personal journeys, reflecting what LOYA aims to celebrate.

The menu added another layer to the experience, featuring dishes with strong cultural roots and stories of their own. Guests were served selections such as Dal ki Chaat, Dahi Kraal, Gola Paratha, Tudkiya Bhaat, and Kala Moti Gucchi Pulao, each offering a glimpse into traditional flavours.

Set against the serene backdrop of Taj West End, Bengaluru, the afternoon carried a sense of quiet elegance. Conversations flowed naturally, supported by a thoughtfully planned culinary experience.

Through such initiatives, LOYA continues to create a space where food, culture, and storytelling come together in a meaningful way, offering guests an experience that goes beyond dining.
