Atmosphere Core, one of South Asia’s leading hospitality names with strong expansion plans across Asia and Europe, has announced the appointment of three new General Managers across its well-known Maldives resorts under Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts and COLOURS OF OBLU. The move reflects the company’s growing focus on seamless operations, consistent brand experiences and innovation in guest engagement.

Under the Atmosphere Hotels & Resorts portfolio, Mr Maurice Van Den Bosch assumes leadership at VARU by Atmosphere, while Mr Mario Stanic takes charge as General Manager at RAAYA by Atmosphere. Within the COLOURS OF OBLU brand, Mr Brett Craig Castleman joins as the new General Manager of OBLU SELECT Sangeli.

Mario Stanic, who steps into his role at RAAYA by Atmosphere, brings an international career shaped by over 30 years of experience across luxury resorts in the Maldives, Indian Ocean, Europe, the Middle East and APAC. Known for reimagining guest journeys with emotion-led hospitality, he blends creative thinking with strong operational discipline. “True hospitality is about emotion. It’s the feeling guests take home. My aim is to craft moments that resonate, driven by teamwork and genuine care,” says Mario.

Joining VARU by Atmosphere, Maurice Van Den Bosch brings over 25 years of global experience across the Maldives, Sri Lanka and the Caribbean. His easy-going, collaborative leadership style reflects his Australian roots, and he is widely recognised within Atmosphere Core for his ability to translate strategy into consistent results. “Varu has a unique rhythm. It’s vibrant and full of soul. My goal is to lead with energy and collaboration, ensuring guests feel that joy in every interaction,” says Maurice.

At OBLU SELECT Sangeli, Brett Craig Castleman steps in with 27 years of hospitality experience across Africa, the Indian Ocean and the Caribbean. Known for his warm, intuitive approach, he focuses on creating heartfelt, meaningful guest experiences. “Great hospitality begins with genuine connection. When a team feels valued, guests feel it too. My vision is to nurture that shared passion every single day,” says Brett.

Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty is preparing a new chapter for Colony Clubhouse & Grill with the appointment of Chef Mohamed Galhoum, who will lead the culinary repositioning of the hotel's celebrated dining destination.

Chef Mohamed brings 9 years and 8 months of experience across luxury hospitality kitchens in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and Egypt. His career includes roles at leading properties such as Andaz The Palm, The Meydan Hotel, Sheraton Sharjah Beach Resort and Sheraton Jeddah, where he gained experience across restaurants, banquets and à la carte operations.

Currently serving as Sous Chef at Andaz The Palm in Dubai, Chef Mohamed has worked across Arabic, Mediterranean and international cuisine. His experience also covers menu planning, recipe development, food cost management, quality assurance and kitchen team leadership.

He has also been involved in pre-opening restaurant operations, production planning and recipe standardisation, giving him experience across both the creative and operational sides of running a culinary destination.

With his appointment, Colony Clubhouse & Grill is set to introduce a refreshed culinary identity while holding on to its warm and relaxed character. The new direction will focus on a more considered menu, combining strong culinary foundations with contemporary interpretations and quality ingredients.

The repositioning will also look beyond the menu to the overall dining experience. The restaurant aims to create a setting that works equally well for relaxed get-togethers, leisurely meals and memorable evenings by the waterfront.

The move is part of Grand Hyatt Kochi Bolgatty's ongoing efforts to develop its culinary offerings and create distinctive experiences for both local diners and hotel guests.

As Chef Mohamed and his team begin shaping the restaurant's next phase, Colony Clubhouse & Grill is expected to bring together its familiar hospitality with a fresh culinary perspective, with the new experience set to unfold in the coming months.

His career includes leading hospitality brands such as The Lalit Suri Hospitality Group, DoubleTree by Hilton, Vivanta by Taj, JW Marriott, Renaissance Hotels and The Orchid Hotel.

With a strong interest in regional gastronomy, Chef Ajit will bring the flavours and culinary heritage of Haryana to the hotel’s dining experience. His signature creation, “The Legacy of Haryana,” celebrates the region’s diverse food culture through its distinctive flavours, age-old techniques and traditional recipes.

Wellington College International Pune has appointed Vikram Soni as Head of Admissions and Marketing, strengthening its leadership team as the school enters its next phase of growth and prepares to launch its premium boarding programme.

The school is India's first institution under the Wellington College UK network. It offers the English National Curriculum, Cambridge IGCSE and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), combining academic learning, pastoral care and future-ready education within a community representing more than 20 nationalities.

Vikram brings more than a decade of experience across admissions, marketing, communications, brand strategy and educational leadership. He holds an MBA from William Carey University and began his career in advertising, working with brands including Cinepolis, Coca-Cola, Forevermark, Asia Hospital and NoMarks (Ozone Pharmaceuticals).

He later moved into international school leadership, taking on admissions, marketing and communications roles at Cathedral Vidya School, Wisdom International School in China, Mussoorie International School and Oakridge International School, Gachibowli, part of Nord Anglia Education.

During his career, Vikram has worked across admissions, brand strategy, communications, community engagement and external relations, supporting enrolment growth, institutional visibility and stronger parent engagement.

At Wellington College International Pune, he will oversee admissions, marketing and communications. His role will focus on building the school’s visibility, connecting with prospective families, expanding outreach across India and overseas, and supporting the growth of its international community and upcoming boarding programme.
