Atmosphere Core, a leading international hospitality group, held a senior leadership summit in Mumbai on September 5th and 6th to outline its strategic objectives and future vision. The summit brought together the company’s India leadership team, senior executives, and Board members from the Maldives to discuss the group's expansion plans and address challenges in the South Asia market.
The event highlighted Atmosphere Core’s ambitious goal of launching 14 new properties across India in the next three years, aiming to reach 25 properties by 2025. This expansion aligns with the company's vision to become a leader in luxury hospitality, while also fostering growth in local communities.
Salil Panigrahi, Group Managing Director of Atmosphere Core, shared his thoughts on the summit. “Today’s summit transcended the subject of our mere expansion; what our Leadership team shared was our commitment to crafting a harmonious relationship between our people and properties. Our vision is clear - to cultivate an immersive experience that elevates guest satisfaction while honoring local heritage and sustainability. Second to this, is our commitment to India and bringing employment, local economic growth, and prosperity to the communities we operate within.”
Originating from the Maldives, Atmosphere Core has rapidly grown in the hospitality sector, especially in the Indian Ocean region. The company currently operates nine private island resorts and is known for its ‘Holiday Plan’ concept, which offers all-inclusive luxury vacations. This concept has set a new benchmark in the resort market by offering elevated guest experiences.
During the summit, participants also discussed the evolving trends in luxury hospitality and how to capitalize on new opportunities in the post-pandemic world. The event served as a platform for strategic alignment, as stakeholders examined ways to navigate market challenges and continue the company’s growth trajectory.
