Bacardi, the renowned alcoholic beverage company, is introducing the second edition of its 'Shake Your Future' program in India. This two-week training initiative offers free bartending education to individuals who are unemployed or underrepresented in the industry. Participants will acquire bartending skills, enhance their knowledge of drink-making, and learn professional presentation techniques. 

The program covers various subjects, including beverage basics, mixology, personal branding, social media, communication, and industry insights. Its objective is to empower individuals and equip them with the necessary skills for a successful bartending career. Bacardi, known for its commitment to being 'good-spirited,' prioritizes initiatives that benefit people.

The previous edition of 'Shake Your Future' in India witnessed all participants being hired by respected bars and restaurants in five-star hotels across the country, showcasing the program's effectiveness. Keeping with its #GoodSpirited motto, Bacardi in India also started an all-women batch earlier this year to help talented women pivot to a career in bartending. Furthermore, the upcoming batch will feature sessions with industry experts, Bacardi representatives, and Nitin Tewari, Founder of Bar Kala Academy and BarTrender OPC private limited, providing valuable knowledge and guidance.

Statistics from the program's global expansion highlight its success. Shake Your Future originally started in France in 2018 and has expanded to countries such as Italy, South Africa, Bermuda, and England. Impressively, 80% of graduates from these countries have secured successful careers in the hospitality industry, emphasizing the program's positive impact.
