Banaraswala – Ghat Se Ghar Tak, known for its Banarasi cuisine, has introduced a special Navratri menu for the 2026 festive season. Available from 11 to 20 October, the menu features festive thalis, fasting-friendly snacks, traditional Banarasi sweets and beverages, offering customers a selection of dishes suited to the festival.
With Navratri observed through fasting, family gatherings and festive meals, the new menu focuses on familiar flavours and dishes prepared for the season. The offering will be available across all Banaraswala outlets and online platforms throughout the festival period.
The centrepiece of the menu is the Special Navratri Thali, accompanied by a Mini Navratri Thali for those looking for a smaller meal. Both feature festive preparations such as vrat puris, aloo sabzi and paneer makhni, bringing together a selection of dishes for the fasting season. The menu also includes two beverages inspired by regional flavours: Malai Lassi and Banarasi Dry Fruit Thandai. These drinks complement the festive meals while adding a familiar touch of Banaras to the offering.
For dessert, customers can choose from a selection of Banarasi favourites, including Banarasi Cheena, Launglata, Daahi Gulab Jamun and Rabri Jalebi. The sweet offerings add a traditional finish to the festive menu, bringing regional dessert favourites to Navratri celebrations.
Vibhanshu Mishra, Founder and CEO of Banaraswala – Ghat Se Ghar Tak, said, “A Navratri meal should never feel like a shortcut. We wanted the plate to be generous, the sweets unapologetically indulgent and the drinks to feel like a small pause in a busy day. If a guest takes the first bite and is reminded of home, or of a trip to Banaras, we will consider the menu a success.”
With its combination of festive thalis, regional beverages and traditional sweets, Banaraswala aims to bring the flavours of Banaras to the Navratri dining experience. The Special Navratri Menu will be available from 11 to 20 October 2026 across all Banaraswala outlets and online platforms.
