The station, located in the heart of 'Delhi 6', is not only a listed heritage site but also one of the busiest railway stations in India, witnessing the daily hustle of 291 trains.
This Food Plaza, a concession from the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), caters not only to the weary travelers but also to midnight revelers and the youth seeking a secure, hygienic, and well-appointed 24-hour destination. With high-speed Wi-Fi, it provides an ideal space to enjoy outstanding street food and beverages while the city sleeps.
The 220-cover food plaza boasts an outstanding menu featuring sumptuous street foods from across India, with a special emphasis on the flavors of Old Delhi. From signature masala chai & samosas to value combo meals, sandwiches, classics like chole bhature, thalis, paranthas, salads, Chinese street food, chicken tikka kathi rolls, and a wide selection of South Indian delicacies, the menu is a celebration of diverse culinary delights.
At the heart of Bird Group's initiatives lies sustainability. The company is dedicated to minimizing its environmental footprint through eco-friendly practices, including waste reduction, energy conservation, responsible water management, and sustainable sourcing of raw materials. Notably, all food packaging at the Food Plaza is exclusively done using paper products, reflecting the commitment to environmental consciousness.
