In a groundbreaking move, NEOM, the futuristic city in Saudi Arabia, is preparing to welcome not one but two world-class hotel properties from Marriott International, Inc. This exciting development includes Saudi Arabia's very first W Hotel and a luxurious JW Marriott property. These hotels will find their home in the NEOM mountains' extraordinary ski resort, Trojena.

Luxury Awaits in Trojena

Marriott International's W Hotel in Trojena, NEOM, is poised to offer 236 guest rooms, including 47 lavish suites, all boasting uninterrupted views of the picturesque mountains and a serene freshwater lake. The property's design plans include signature brand spaces such as a Living Room, WET Deck, W Lounge, AWAY Spa, and a state-of-the-art FIT fitness center. Guests can also look forward to indulging their taste buds at four distinct dining destinations and exploring retail spaces.

The W Hotel will be part of NEOM Trojena's Lake Village, a waterfront development that blends residential, hospitality, and commercial architecture. This unique 2.8-kilometer-long architectural lake promises enchanting forests and waterfront adventures, making it a must-visit destination.

Next door, the JW Marriott Hotel will find its place in The Bow, Trojena's innovative water world. This futuristic environment, infused with cutting-edge technology, remains a bit mysterious in terms of its precise implementation and purpose. However, one thing is clear: the hotel's substructures will be built to withstand the water's weight and pressure, ensuring stability.

The JW Marriott Experience

The JW Marriott Hotel is set to feature a staggering 500 rooms and suites, providing an exceptional guest experience. It will include a range of entertainment and recreational amenities, such as a ballroom, meeting rooms, five diverse dining options, a fitness center, a kids' club, swimming pools, and a luxurious spa.

Year-Round Winter Wonderland

Located in the Tabuk region of northwest Saudi Arabia, Trojena is on its way to becoming a futuristic ski resort adjacent to NEOM. Trojena plans to use a combination of real and artificial snow to create a captivating alpine environment for sports, living, and recreation year-round. With sub-zero winter temperatures and consistently cooler year-round temperatures compared to the region, Trojena aims to ensure there's always snow, regardless of the season.

A Vision for Luxury and Innovation

Chadi Hauch of Middle East Marriott International believes that NEOM's vision aligns perfectly with the essence of their two iconic brands, W Hotels and JW Marriott. W Hotels, known for redefining luxury hospitality, resonates with NEOM's focus on innovation, creativity, design, and exploration. On the other hand, JW Marriott, renowned for extraordinary hospitality, thoughtful design, and enriching experiences, promises to elevate the travel experience for discerning guests.

As we eagerly await the opening of these spectacular properties, it's clear that NEOM is not just redefining luxury; it's creating a new era of hospitality and mountain tourism. Stay tuned for updates on this groundbreaking venture.

In the world of luxury hospitality, where lavish experiences often steal the spotlight, Clarks Exotica Convention Resort & Spa stands out by leading with a deeper mission — purpose. For Clarks, hospitality is not just about the scenic views and impeccable service; it’s about building a culture rooted in values, unity, and community responsibility.

At the core of Clarks' success is a people-first philosophy — a belief that genuine service begins with a strong, supported team. Under the leadership of Nilisha Ghuliani, Vice President, the resort has cultivated a workplace that feels less like a job and more like a purpose-driven family.

Honouring National Pride: #OperationSindoor

One of Clarks’ standout initiatives this year was #OperationSindoor, a heartfelt tribute to the Indian Armed Forces. Employees dressed in red and pink — symbols of strength, unity, and gratitude — and came together to honour those who serve the nation.

This was more than just a ceremony. It was a collective expression of patriotism, creating a sense of purpose and solidarity among team members. “At Clarks, patriotism is not a moment — it’s a mindset,” shares Nilisha Ghuliani.

Nurturing the Earth: Earth Day Tree Planting

Sustainability isn’t just a policy at Clarks — it’s a practice. On Earth Day, employees participated in a tree-planting initiative at the Clubhouse Lawn, reflecting the resort’s long-standing commitment to the environment.

From water conservation to green operations, Clarks has consistently invested in planet-positive action, ensuring that everyday efforts contribute to long-term impact.

Empowering People: Culture of Care

Employee wellbeing and growth are central to the Clarks ethos. Through training programs, internal recognition, and continuous engagement, the resort empowers its team to lead, grow, and evolve. Whether it's supporting career advancement or celebrating small wins, Clarks ensures that its people feel seen, heard, and valued.

"Every initiative — whether for the nation, the environment, or our people — is designed to deepen connection and build meaning," Nilisha explains.

Clarks Exotica is proving that a great workplace isn't just built with policies — it's built with heart. Here, service excellence begins within, and each action is a step toward a more unified, compassionate, and conscious world.
