Burger King India has reached a major milestone with the opening of its 600th restaurant in GTB Nagar, Delhi, bringing the brand's India journey back to the city where it opened its first restaurant in Saket in 2014.

The milestone marks more than a decade of expansion for Burger King in India, with the brand now operating 100+ restaurants across Delhi-NCR and having a presence in more than 140 cities across the country.

The 600th outlet strengthens Burger King's presence across both major metros and emerging cities while expanding its reach among India's growing QSR audience.

Since entering the Indian market, the brand has focused on building a wider restaurant network while strengthening its supply chain, menu innovation, value proposition and digital capabilities. Its growth strategy has also included the expansion of the BK Café® business and increased adoption of digital ordering.

The new GTB Nagar restaurant was launched with a celebratory opening featuring festive décor, an opening ceremony and activities for families and food lovers. Located in one of Delhi's vibrant and youthful neighbourhoods, the outlet offers Burger King's signature menu, including the iconic WHOPPER®, along with burgers, wraps, snacks, desserts and beverages.

Commenting on the milestone, Rajeev Varman, Group CEO and Whole-Time Director, Restaurant Brands Asia, said, "Our 600th restaurant is a testament to the love and support we get from our guests, vendor partners and most importantly each and every one of our restaurant employees. I remain thankful to all of them for their invaluable contributions. Every new restaurant brings the brand closer to more guests, while enabling us to build greater relevance across markets and occasions. As we continue to scale, we are creating efficiencies that position the business for sustainable and responsible expansion and the next phase of our growth journey."

Burger King India has also continued to evolve its menu through new flavours, formats and limited-time offerings designed for local consumer preferences. The brand has introduced globally inspired ranges such as its Korean Range and Peri-Peri Range, alongside its wider portfolio of burgers, snacks, desserts and beverages.

The company has simultaneously strengthened its value-led offerings and digital-first ordering ecosystem, while developing restaurant formats suited to different consumption occasions.

The opening of the 600th restaurant reflects Burger King's continued focus on expanding its network while building relevance across different consumer segments and markets in India.
