Burma Burma, India’s pioneering pan-India Burmese restaurant and tea room, has made a bold leap in its expansion journey by launching three new restaurants across Delhi-NCR. With new locations in Worldmark 3, Aerocity; DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj; and Worldmark 65, Gurugram, the brand now operates six outlets in the region and 18 restaurants nationwide.
Known for its inventive vegetarian Burmese cuisine and immersive dining experience, Burma Burma now brings its award-winning offerings closer to guests across the Capital. Each of the new outlets offers more than just a meal, it’s a curated cultural experience that celebrates Burma’s culinary heritage, rich tea traditions, and design influences.
“With three new locations now open across vibrant neighbourhoods in Delhi-NCR, we’re deepening our presence in the region,” said Ankit Gupta, Co-founder of Burma Burma. “Each space reflects our commitment to offering not just a meal, but a meaningful experience, one that resonates with the city’s dynamic spirit and ever-curious palate.”
To mark the new openings, Burma Burma has unveiled a limited-edition menu titled ‘From Burma with Tea’, a tribute to Burmese tea shop culture. Available from August 1 to September 30, 2025, the menu features traditional and iced Burmese Pulled Teas, flavour-packed small plates like Chin State Potato Croquettes and Corner Cart Skewers, sharing bowls such as the Tea Shop Noodle Bowl, and indulgent desserts like the Tea Shop Toast with custard apple milk. The menu will be available nationwide from September 1.
Dessert lovers can now rejoice with the launch of ‘The Sweet Life’, a new lineup of seven plated desserts developed with pastry maestro Chef Vinesh Johny. Highlights include the Celebration Cake, Milk Tea Cheesecake, Silkroute Sundae, and Coconut & Pineapple Crème Brûlée.
Each new restaurant also tells a story through its interior design led by Minnie Bhatt:
Worldmark 3, Aerocity (110-seater): Inspired by Burma’s Golden Rock Pagoda with a hanging pagoda installation and hand-painted murals.
DLF Promenade, Vasant Kunj (94-seater): A nod to Yangon’s Strand Hotel, featuring vintage wallpaper and cane details.
Worldmark 65, Gurugram (96-seater): Styled after Mandalay’s spiritual architecture with jade walls and pagoda-themed lighting.
From Mumbai to Bengaluru, and now deeper into Delhi-NCR, Burma Burma continues to grow as a premium vegetarian dining destination rooted in storytelling, tradition, and modern design.
