Chalet Hotels, a prominent owner, developer, asset manager, and operator of hotels, has announced plans to renovate three of its properties across India. The properties undergoing renovation include the international brand Four Points by Sheraton Navi Mumbai, and two independent hotels, The Resort at Madh Island Mumbai and The Dukes Retreat at Lonavala.

Chalet Hotels AVP and Four Points by Sheraton General Manager, Stephen D’souza, shared the details of these upgrades with ETHospitalityWorld.com, highlighting the company's commitment to aligning with current trends and customer expectations.

The Dukes Retreat at Lonavala:

The Dukes Retreat at Lonavala, a property operational for approximately 35 years, is set for significant expansion. Upon completion, the hotel will increase its guest rooms from 80 to 147. Additionally, it will introduce a 5,500ft² banqueting space and open up 40,000ft² of lawns, positioning it as a prime destination for weddings and corporate MICE (meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions) events.

Four Points by Sheraton Navi Mumbai and The Resort at Madh Island Mumbai:

While the renovation plans for Four Points by Sheraton Navi Mumbai are still in the planning phase, The Resort at Madh Island Mumbai has already commenced its upgrades. D’souza emphasized the importance of modernizing these properties, stating, "We have been taking feedback from our guests and customers for the last 12 to 18 months and based on this feedback, we have drawn up our renovation and upgradation plans."

Technology and Innovation:

Chalet Hotels is also prioritizing technology upgrades across these properties, with ongoing trials of innovative tech solutions. Successful implementations from these trials will be rolled out to future properties, ensuring that the hotels stay ahead in providing a modern and comfortable guest experience.

Marketing and Future Acquisitions:

The company aims to market the renovated cluster as preferred locations for both weddings and corporate events. In line with their expansion strategy, Chalet Hotels recently signed a definitive agreement to acquire the Courtyard by Marriott Aravali Resort in the National Capital Region of India.

With these renovations, Chalet Hotels continues to strengthen its position in the Indian hospitality industry, enhancing guest experiences and meeting evolving market demands.
