Chalu Aapna Desi Chinese, the popular Indian-Chinese QSR brand known for its signature blend of Indian spices and Chinese flavours, has closed the financial year at ₹121 crore, recording a 128% year-on-year growth. The brand has also unveiled plans to launch 150 new outlets across India in 2025, strengthening its presence in the fast-growing QSR space.

As part of this expansion, 10 new outlets are set to open this quarter in cities including Agra, Patiala, Bhiwadi, Ludhiana, Delhi (DLF Motinagar), and Pune. With last year’s footprint crossing 80 new outlets, Chalu is now operational in over 33 cities with more than 200 outlets nationwide.

“We are not just opening restaurants, we are trying to build a culture, as for us Chalu Aapna Desi Chinese has always been more than just food,” said Vibhanshu Mishra, Founder of Chalu Aapna Desi Chinese. “It is the experience we want to give and create for our customers. We want you to have the loud laugh with friends over our hot and spicy chilly chicken, or if you’re craving for a post-work noodles that just hit the right spot, we are there for you.”

Started in 2020, Chalu Aapna Desi Chinese quickly gained popularity for its bold and flavourful approach to Chinese dishes with a local twist. From classics like Hakka Noodles and Chilly Chicken to their own fusion specials, the brand has become a go-to name for desi Chinese cuisine lovers.

The cities selected for new openings reflect a mix of growing urban demand and a shared enthusiasm for food culture. Whether it’s the lively markets of Agra or the corporate pace of Pune, Chalu is tailoring its experience to suit each location while retaining its trademark style.

Chalu’s growth is not limited to the Indian market. The brand is now set to go global with its first international venture in Ontario, Canada, scheduled for launch soon. This marks a key step in its vision to take the #Bchalu experience to Indian food lovers worldwide.

With this wave of expansion, Chalu Aapna Desi Chinese continues to redefine quick-service dining with a truly local soul and global ambition.
