China Duty Free Group Launches Global Shopping Festival for May Day

China Duty Free Group (CDFG) has launched a month-long shopping extravaganza called the Global Shopping Festival, just in time for the May Day holiday. From April 26 onwards, shoppers can indulge in a plethora of offerings both online and offline, domestically and internationally.

Expect a transformed shopping experience at CDFG's duty-free stores, which will be turned into floral wonderlands, offering a visually stunning and vibrant atmosphere. With collaborations from over 30 brands, shoppers can enjoy various activities including pop-up events, tastings, beauty shows, and comedy performances.

Notable attractions include a giant capsule toy machine for prize draws throughout May at the cdf Sanya International Duty Free Shopping Complex. Additionally, there will be special mime performances from May 1 to 3, adding a unique touch to the shopping experience.

The festival also introduces four themed Super Brand Weeks, featuring over 1,000 luxury brands across categories such as beverages, cosmetics, gourmet foods, lifestyle goods, watches, and jewelry. Shoppers can anticipate in-store demos, time-limited discounts, and gifts with purchases, making each week a showcase of exclusive benefits.

To provide exceptional value, CDFG is rolling out special promotions during the May Day holiday. From May 1 to 5, shoppers at cdf Hainan offshore duty-free stores can enjoy a quintuple points program on select items. Additionally, duty-free shopping vouchers will be issued via the CDF Member WeChat mini-program starting April 26.

Furthermore, consumers can benefit from tiered discounts, bonus gifts, raffles, and rewards across domestic and international duty-free stores and online platforms. CDFG has partnered with major payment providers to offer perks such as membership points, cashback, and discounts.
