JW Marriott Hotel Riyadh has announced the appointment of Christian Fomm as its new General Manager, marking an exciting chapter for the luxury property. With over 25 years of international experience across the finest hospitality brands, Christian brings strong leadership and a passion for service excellence to the Kingdom.

His journey in luxury hospitality includes celebrated roles with The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, The Luxury Collection, and the Savoy Group. Most recently, he served as Pre-Opening General Manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Rabat, Dar Es Salam in Morocco. Prior to that, he led The Ritz-Carlton Wolfsburg in Germany for six years, where the hotel ranked among the top five Ritz-Carlton properties in Europe for guest satisfaction and received multiple TripAdvisor ‘Best of the Best’ awards between 2018 and 2021. The hotel was also ranked 12th in the ‘101 Best Hotels in Germany’ in 2020.

Earlier, during his time at St. Regis Mardavall Mallorca Resort in Spain, Christian helped the property earn global recognition in 2015 for achieving the highest RevPAR Index among all St. Regis hotels worldwide.

Christian’s vast leadership experience spans across Europe, Africa, and now the Middle East, with successful tenures at prestigious properties in Germany, Spain, Italy, the UK, Austria, and Morocco. His expertise lies in driving operational excellence, enhancing guest satisfaction, and leading high-performing teams.
