Conrad Bengaluru, in collaboration with the Dr. Maya Rao Kathak & Choreography Conference, hosted a soulful evening that celebrated the enduring spirit of performing arts through community engagement, artistic expression, and shared experiences. The gathering brought together friends, families, and dance enthusiasts from the Natya Sangeet Akademi, creating a vibrant space for movement, music, and meaningful connection.
The evening opened with a captivating performance by Madhu Natraj and STEM, setting an energetic and inspiring tone for the celebration. Guests were immersed in a thoughtfully curated programme that blended live performances with moments of conversation and reflection, highlighting the power of dance as a form of storytelling and cultural dialogue.
Adding to the experience was a specially designed dinner menu curated by Executive Chef Eliyaz of Conrad Bengaluru. The menu traced the remarkable artistic journey of Dr. Maya Rao, offering guests a culinary narrative that complemented the spirit of the evening. Signature artisanal cocktails further enhanced the atmosphere, encouraging guests to engage, connect, and celebrate creativity in a relaxed and elegant setting.
The gathering brought together members of the artistic community, including Jackie Pinto, Rubi Chakraborty, and Deepa Rao Acharya, among others. From expressive on-stage moments to warm group interactions, the evening reflected a strong sense of togetherness, fostering conversation, collaboration, and shared appreciation for the arts.
Reflecting on the collaboration, Digvijay Singh, General Manager, Conrad Bengaluru, shared, “At Conrad Bengaluru, art and culture are not just experiences we host, but stories we live and breathe. This evening was a beautiful convergence of creativity, tradition, and dialogue, brought to life through our partnership with the Dr. Maya Rao Conference. We are proud to champion platforms that celebrate artistic expression and foster meaningful cultural exchange, reinforcing our commitment to being a home for the arts in the city.”
Through this celebration, Conrad Bengaluru reaffirmed its role as a cultural hub that supports artistic platforms and nurtures meaningful cultural engagement, blending hospitality with creative expression in the heart of the city.
