Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has announced the opening of Corbett Hideaway, Jim Corbett – IHCL SeleQtions in Uttarakhand, expanding its presence in one of India’s leading wildlife and leisure destinations.
Located along the banks of the Kosi River, the new resort is spread across seven acres and features 80 keys, offering guests a nature-focused stay surrounded by the landscape of Jim Corbett.
The opening also strengthens IHCL’s partnership with Leisure Hotels Group, adding the group’s sixth resort to the IHCL portfolio.
Commenting on the opening, Gaurav Pokhariyal, Chief Operating Officer, Full-Service Business, IHCL, said, “Corbett is one of India’s most sought-after wildlife destinations, drawing travellers with its natural beauty and thriving ecosystem. The addition of Corbett Hideaway - IHCL SeleQtions strengthens our presence in Uttarakhand and furthers our partnership with Leisure Hotels Group with the addition of its sixth resort to the IHCL portfolio.”
Designed to create a closer connection with its natural surroundings, Corbett Hideaway – IHCL SeleQtions features private sit-outs overlooking the Kosi River, landscaped greens and open spaces.
The resort’s dining offerings include Ija, an all-day dining restaurant serving a selection of authentic Kumaoni cuisine, along with Indian classics and international favourites.
For a more relaxed setting, Himmaleh Bar & Deck offers an alfresco dining and drinking experience overlooking the river.
The resort also provides access to a range of curated experiences that allow guests to explore the region’s wildlife and natural landscape.
These include guided jungle safaris, birdwatching excursions, river rafting and visits to the Garjiya Devi Temple, offering a mix of adventure, nature and cultural experiences.
