Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport has expanded its leadership team with the appointment of two experienced professionals, Sunanda Sathish as Director of Human Resources and Anusikha Paul as Training Manager. The appointments reflect the hotel’s continued focus on strengthening people development, talent engagement, and workplace culture.

Bringing extensive experience in human resources and associate development, both leaders come with different professional journeys but share a common belief that exceptional hospitality begins with the people behind it.

Sunanda Sathish joins the property with over 25 years of experience within Marriott International. Throughout her journey, she has held several leadership positions and built expertise in people management and workplace culture. Her career began as Human Resources Manager at the erstwhile Renaissance Mumbai Convention Centre Hotel and JW Marriott Mumbai Sahar, later progressing into leadership roles at The Westin Hyderabad and Pune.

Known for her people-focused leadership style, Sunanda has consistently worked towards creating workplaces where associates feel supported and encouraged to grow.

Speaking on her appointment, she said:

"I am delighted to join the Courtyard by Marriott Mumbai International Airport team. Having spent my career within Marriott International, I deeply understand the values and culture that define the brand. I look forward to working closely with the team to foster a workplace where every associate feels valued, empowered and inspired to deliver their best."

Joining the leadership team as Training Manager, Anusikha Paul brings experience across leading international hotel brands and diverse hospitality functions. Her journey spans roles ranging from Hygiene Officer to Learning & Development positions, where she contributed significantly towards training culture and soft skills development initiatives.

She also holds a PG Diploma in Training & Development along with a Master of Science in Microbiology, reflecting her commitment to continuous learning and a detail-oriented approach.

Sharing her thoughts on the new role, Anusikha said:

"Learning and development is not just about training, it is about unlocking potential and equipping our associates with the skills and confidence to create memorable guest experiences. I look forward to delivering meaningful development programmes that nurture talent and support the hotel’s vision of excellence."
